the last G of every verse should actually be played with an F# bass, but apart from this sounds ok

What are the strumming patterns? I'm pretty new to guitar so please help :D
July 5 2012, 04:22 am by
do it how it is natural! strum how you think sounds good, famous guitarists never use 'strumming patterns' you don't need them!

The outro is missing a chorus. It should be "I'm out of touch", then "I'm out of sight" then "I'm out of touch". Also The last line should say "I will love you better now". :)

For the Chorus it's G to Am to Em to D (for 2 measures) to C!
Other than that small mistake (that everyone made not just you so it's cool) this is legit! If you don't believe me, play along to the song or something :) keep up the good work

hi there ive swapped the D and EM around !
May 5 2013, 05:19 pm by
i think its not a G at the end of the vers but a C with high d and g istead of c & e

actually the placings of the chords are horrible.
G D Em
I'm out of touch, I'm out of love
I'll pick you up when you're getting down

thank you very much for the chords i love them. but i have to agree with Tholomyes.. some of the chord placings are horrible. it keeps screwing me up

ohhh myyyy goodness this was frustrating. the last verse is wrong. (the lyrics I mean) and you missed going back to G then D then Em during the second "and it's dark in a cold December". A few places needed g's to simply be switched to D's or D's were missing all together. I printed this out as reference but I scribbled all over it fixing things up.

Yeah, really sorry, I made this when I was 12 I've noticed a few mistakes and I will try and fix them soon x

strumming pattern ??
August 15 2013, 07:43 pm by
This is played in a higher key than how he sings it, do you know what key you were singing it in?? Just trying to see how this sounds when the keys match, and is the D chord for the whole song because in some parts it didn't harmonize with the vocals very well, and it sounded sour.

just transpose it. sing the note for the word "touch" in the chorus and ear-tab it.

Capo 1 sounds nice :)

March 19 2014, 03:57 pm by
thanks! It really helped! I love this song and the timing is alomst perfect. I love to play it. Thanks to you!

In the verses instead of D it should be C... so for example
G D Em
I'm gonna pick up the pieces,
and build a lego house
C (<- see?) Em
when things go wrong we can knock it down
May 30 2014, 07:04 pm by
I disagree. The D chord right there is correct.
