I love this song so much! thank you! just thought I'd let you know it is blow and not grow, but it doesn't matter :) cheers again.
January 5 2013, 10:44 am by

February 4 2013, 07:57 pm by

February 14 2013, 04:05 pm by

February 16 2013, 02:43 pm by
Just listen to the song as you play it ;)
February 24 2013, 01:03 am by
Strum for intro: DDVDV
Strum for the rest of the song: DDVVDV
February 24 2013, 04:45 pm by
Love this one of my favourite songs ,if you play bass and dont use a capo transpose to -2 but otherwise this is perfect thanks so much,
February 24 2013, 04:47 pm by
I made a mistake it +2 not -2
February 27 2013, 01:40 pm by
Great tab! :)
March 6 2013, 01:45 pm by
If anyone would like a video lesson for this then feel free to message me :)
March 7 2013, 11:18 am by
I do D DDU in the beggining and then later just DDU UDU
March 9 2013, 12:23 pm by
strum down twice then down again quickly whilst changing into the next chords if that helps!
March 11 2013, 10:03 am by
I use DDU UDU for the rythm.
And a correction on the line "Whoa, whoa, I'm radioactive, radioactive" it should be the G chord on top of "radioactive", "I'm" is said in the C chord.
March 14 2013, 04:33 am by
On guitar you would have to decide on your own rhythm, the song doesn't actually have any rhythm guitar in it.
March 16 2013, 02:42 pm by
DDU UDU and D DDU
works fine for me...
March 21 2013, 04:27 pm by
Not that it affects the tab, but the lyric is "Enough to make my system blow."
Great Tab otherwise, great song, Thank you

March 29 2013, 11:22 pm by

March 29 2013, 11:25 pm by
blow not grow
March 30 2013, 05:43 pm by
I actually love this song so much. I'm obsessed with it and then I heard it on The Host ad and I was like "OMG OMG I LOVE THIS SONG!!!:)"

April 11 2013, 12:19 am by

April 13 2013, 11:49 am by
Am C G D
I'm breaking in, shaping up, then checking out on the prison bus
Am C G
This is it, the apocalypse
G D (<- !!!)
April 14 2013, 05:16 pm by
It should end on am
April 18 2013, 10:59 am by
What key is this in? noob here
April 21 2013, 10:12 pm by
The key is probably G, so the G is I, the am is ii, the C is IV and the D is V
April 22 2013, 12:06 am by
Excellent chords, was a blast to play! Except for the intro, most of it is the equivalent of a bass playing root notes, but for the chorus or the "D" notes that end certain phrases, try a D7 instead.
April 28 2013, 10:06 pm by
I'm pretty sure it's blow, not grow.
May 5 2013, 06:09 pm by
This is almost perfect except on the single "whoa" after "apocalypse" it should be the D chord instead of it being at the beginning of the chorus.... Great job overall!
May 12 2013, 02:02 pm by
thanks for this wonderful song
May 13 2013, 12:40 pm by
For help with playing the song ^
May 18 2013, 12:50 pm by
To play this song without the Capo, increase the chords by one full tone.
B min, D maj, A maj, E maj. Dead Easy!

June 9 2013, 04:26 am by
much better to pluck the series of chords rather than strumming :D
June 10 2013, 06:17 pm by
absolutely awesome tab, can be played Bm, D, A and E without the capo too, 5 stars :)
June 16 2013, 05:34 am by
I think it would be better if this 'Whoa' is D not G
June 20 2013, 05:50 am by
You can also play the bass string.
Like: Chord = Am
2x A-string , down, down, up
chord = C
2x a-string , down , down, up
chord = G
2x E-string , down , down, up
2x d-string , down , down, up

June 28 2013, 02:54 am by
This is so great!! So close to the song :)
June 29 2013, 09:27 am by
neighbors just heard everything.
June 29 2013, 11:14 am by
Try a Bm in the bridge instead of the G - I think it sounds better.
Em* Bm* D* A*
All systems go, sun hasn't died
Em* Bm* D* A*
Deep in my bones, straight from inside
July 7 2013, 03:19 am by
You know, you can play it without a capo... Bm D A E
July 7 2013, 05:16 pm by
The 'whoa's in the verses could use an F at the end.
July 9 2013, 12:34 pm by
Chords are correct, capo is not needed, they do not use one in their acoustic version. Check out You Tube.
July 9 2013, 12:36 pm by
Check out the You Tube acoustic version, these chords are correct, no capo.
July 11 2013, 02:54 pm by
Down Down Down Down Up, but when you strum up its between changing chords, so when you strum up you wont have any chords laid down.
July 11 2013, 05:34 pm by
It's Almost the same, just in a different place, soo, yeah.
July 14 2013, 01:06 am by
On the "woah"s it should be a D not a G but perfect otherwise!
July 17 2013, 12:22 am by
Yeah, the peg thing is called a Capo and you put that on the second fret :D I use DD UDUDU for the intro part, and then DDU UDU for everything else :P Might be wrong, but I hope that helps :)
July 19 2013, 11:39 am by
its enough to make my systems blow? great tab though :) xx

July 24 2013, 07:34 pm by
Personally, I found the capo on the 4th fret sounds better. But I guess that's just personal preference. Other than that, perfect.
