perfect tab other than the picking. kansas uses a thing called Travis Picking. it should be:

e|---------------|
B|-0-------0-----|
G|-----0-------0-|
D|---0-------0---|
A|-0-----0-------|
E|---------------|

Other than that, nice tab man! Perfect chords.

Also the timing is 4/4 so... You can consider each chord as 1/2 of the measure so the 1st note of each chord is an 8th note and the others are 16ths....

e|---------------|
B|-0-------0-----|
G|-----0-------0-|
D|---0-------0---|
A|-0-----0-------|
E|---------------|
1 1 1 1 1 1
8 6 6 6 6 6 6
OR
1e+ a 2 e + a

don't agree, these chords are poor
June 13 2008, 11:11 pm by gunsofbrixton49 |
ya it is way simpler... its just simple chords and arpeggios

Really great job. One question though. When there are chords such as D/f# do I have to deviate from the arpeggio in order to play the f# or can I just skip the f# and finger the D chord only? Same question regarding Am/G and a couple more of those type of chords. I can't imagine that you would go through the trouble of including a G or an f# if they are simply going to be overlooked, unless only to preserve the chord progressions.

Same thing. Major is M; Minor is m.

there are two different C major seveth chords: the jazzy "CM7" ([x32310]) and "Cmaj7" ([x32000]) were you decrease the octave one step. the one used in this song is of course the "Cmaj7"
