he's right.. it's an indian instrument called sitar that was used and not a guitar. but when I play it in on the guitar I always add the open E

Not right bud. Its Open on the high e after teh notes and you hammer on when you get to the end of the intro, not slide.

Pretty good, and just thought I'd put this out there, but IMO this song sounds better, the intro at least, when the guitar is in drop C, i'm doing this on an acoustic as well.
