It is entirely possible that it is off key. I have no way of telling, I don't have the song with me, but the chord progression is right. And you've got all the words, which is also good. 5 stars
Are you kidding me? HAVE YOU EVER LISTENED TO A HARD RAIN? The progression is so off it's not even funny. It just sounds like crap to play it this way and does no justice to the song.
There's so much he's forgetting. Plus where it says to go to B, well the chord don't change till the end of the that line of lyric. This might not have been the composer of this tabs fault, but regardless it's wrong. Plus like I said, big factor, the chord progression is horrible and doesn't sound right with the song at all.
- on the second line of the verse, it goes to A and then B. - in the rest of the verse it goes to B and then to E. - at the end of the chorus, I don't think that's an A chord, but an E with the pinky on the third fret on the G string (Esus4 I think it's called).
And the guy above, Musical Gadfly, is a wank. If you think it's wrong offer constructive criticism or give it a low rating, don't just post abuse.
Which one is your tab? If your such an expert on Bob's work, then lets see your tab, the one you wrote that is better. So which one is yours? I want to see EVERYTHING that he forgot. Make sure the progression is right and all that other stuff. Personally i think that if someone takes the time to share their talent, lazy ass parasites like yourself have no right to critizice unless you have a better work posted and it has 5 stars with more than ten votes. Until that day, shut the HELL UP!
My tab for this song is Version 6. It is extremely accurate and when played you will be able to tell how very damn close it is to the way Bob plays it.
My only criticism would be to drop everything a whole step - E to D, B to A, and A to G.
When you get to the meat of the verse, you can slide easily from the G barre to the A barre chord, giving it that dream-ocean-wavey quality that Bob has in the recording. If you then think it's still off, use a capo to raise the pitch to where you want it. I tried playing it this way, and the sound of the chords isn't quite right.
It's a good tab, though, and because not every verse is tabbed I don't have to scroll nearly as much while playing. I use this tab for reference when I play the song. So kudos.
Do your ears work?
