when i heard it i thoght it was in drop c, are you sure this si the right tuning, it just sounded like drop c. could you bring out a tab which includes the piano part (just transcribed to guitar) thanx
To spencer, the Piano part is basically just an arpeggio of those chords. Easy to figure out, and also, to the Tabber, if the capo was on the first fret, that would be up HALF a step, not a whole step, and you say that if you dont have a capo to move it up A WHOLE STEP, which is actually half a step up from how it would be with a capo on the first fret.
Spencer Cr, for some pianos parts to evanescence songs, www.pianofiles.com is the best place for that but you have to sign up first and then ask someone who has the music for Litium for a trade. (read the piano files FAQ and rules first before doing any trading or emailing!)
Also, does any1 know if the verse is just a bunch of single notes played in order within a chord (i forgot what the real name is called) or is it a certain type of finger picking?
Does anyone have the strumming pattern? Or atleast a tempo to play along with? I'm trying to figure out how to play just quarter notes so I can sing along with it, as I'm not good enough yet to strum anything more complex than that while singing. Sad, I know, but I'm working on it, and I think that if I can find the tempo to this song it'll help me out a lot because there are a lot more chord changes than what I usually play.
I was simply browsing through, Lithium isn't a favourite of mine but THIS tab I thought was excellent. Great job, I used my own tempo, my own strumming pattern and no capo and it sounds GREAT! Fantastic job :)
may i ask something? Wats so wrong with playing it in the key it was written in without ctring tuning. if you dont know any chords w/ sharps or flats in the name, learn them, its not that hard.
Cool_beans12 : very simple! It's a tacet when, at the end of the song, you play the last chord and let ring each string. For example in Lithium you can finish by playing Am.
Great work, really, wonderful job!!
thanx
