-----2-4--------|
-2-4------------|
----------------|
----------------|

The thing is that they only play drop c# on concert....as i've figured out by listenting and playing with cd and live performances...
anyways nice tab!
+1   June 13 2007, 02:41 pm by Alucard_Nos4atu |
Do you know the temp of the song, im trying to put it on guitar pro.
+1   June 14 2007, 01:04 pm by not-human00 |
it sounds like c# to me ??
+3   June 14 2007, 01:05 pm by Alucard_Nos4atu |
C# and Db are the same thing
+1   June 17 2007, 06:40 pm by aj2good4you2 |
pretty good tab, overall its better than the first version but ur solo is wrong, while it doesnt sound horrible..its still wrong if u watch them play it, the first version has the right solo
+1   July 18 2007, 06:37 pm by AuntNastyOven |
this is definately in Db, same as when they play live.
+3   July 19 2007, 08:46 am by nirvana-rawk |
Alucard_Nos4atu is right. stop arguing over whether its Db or C sharp (cnt do the hash symbol on my comp soz) , theyre the same thing!
July 19 2007, 11:25 am by enraged monkey |
Db and C# are two different notes, go look it up!
+1   July 19 2007, 11:25 am by enraged monkey |
if it was in C#, the bottom string would say so right? and it doesnt, so there!
+3   July 23 2007, 09:51 pm by 'StoleN' |
Alright guys. C# and Db are in fact not the same not. but they are enharmonic notes, which means they sound the same. so whether you write it C# or Db it really doesnt matter since they sound the same.
+1   July 26 2007, 10:31 pm by xoxomattyo |
In theory two separate notes, but to the ear they are the same. plus drop C# sounds weird...just my opinion
+1   July 27 2007, 05:54 am by doobidoo |

+1   August 20 2007, 04:30 pm by killswitch_mike |
the intro i think is wrong.

It's Octave chords.

It goes

e|---------------------------------||
B|---------------------------------||
G|---13-13---13-----15/17--15/17---||
D|---x--x----x-------x--x---x--x---||
A|---11-11---11------13/15--13/15--||
D|---------------------------------||

& this and all other paramore songs are in D =/

Not C#
+1   August 20 2007, 04:37 pm by killswitch_mike |
okay, it is in C#
i'm doing a tab for it ;)
+1   August 21 2007, 08:42 pm by FruscianteFnatC |
it's in drop Db since you are diminishing the note (lowering) from E but as stolen said they are inharmonic equivalents meaning that the notes sound the same but are spelled differently
-3   August 29 2007, 01:58 pm by thrice92 |
why are there two guitars in this song
paramore only has one
and a bass
i know they can do recordings with the same guy playing both parts
but come on these two guitar songs are making
me mad that i cant play them by myself

any good one guitar songs? anyone?
besides blink-182 i played most of it
+1   September 10 2007, 09:16 pm by Xb4mvluvrX |

+1   September 10 2007, 09:18 pm by Xb4mvluvrX |
sorri i ment Drop Db
+1   September 15 2007, 01:46 pm by icekold23 |
thrice92, you should have gone to warped. You would have seen that they have a second guitarist for live shows. Some dude, I don't know who he is.
+2   October 9 2007, 12:01 am by smiley1on1 |
OMG! I cant believe evryone is arguing if its C# or Db. You guys are complete noobs. They are both the same, period. Any musician should know this.
+1   October 9 2007, 12:02 am by smiley1on1 |
But since you are tuning down the correct term would be drop Db
+1   October 12 2007, 06:26 pm by tilth33 |
alrite, i know that drop Db is the same as C#, but im trying to get to this tuneing. im just usin some auto-tuner, and it to change it, it goes by flats. so im just wondering how to get to drop Db through flats. like how many flats per string? im thinkin three..but i dont think it sounnds right. i know this is a n00b question, but im just wonderin
-2   October 17 2007, 08:16 pm by h0tairbaloon |
ummmmm is this guitar 2? or does it show both? cuz..... a little confused
+1   October 20 2007, 10:31 am by Chris-13 |
The intro doesnt sound any good.
Ive posted an intro of this song. Should be approved soon, check it out
+1   October 23 2007, 12:39 am by Logan_B |
WTF....theres something really weird on my guitar its soo odd...was trying to figure out the "how the hell do you play this part" and my 10 went all harmonicky its soooooo weird i played 10 and tried to mute the string closer to the bridge and it wouldnt mute its soooo odd....
+1   October 23 2007, 12:39 am by Logan_B |
and it doesnt do it anywhere else
+1   October 23 2007, 12:41 am by Logan_B |
oh by the way....this sounds bad but Db is drop D....then tune each string to Db Ab Db etc etc....right...?
+1   October 23 2007, 06:38 am by R-Man |
Tune to Drop D by tuning your sixth string down 2 semitones.
and THEN, tune it down another semitone, so the E note is now Db.
next step is tune strings 1-5 down 1 semitone so it ends up like so
eb
Bb
Gb
Db
Ab
Db

wooo!
+1   October 24 2007, 02:41 pm by EvilDomo |
so izzit Drop C or Drop D + half step?
+3   October 24 2007, 08:19 pm by CamelToeJoe |
haha, oh jesus christ its all the same. Db and C# are the same. Its like sh1t- you can call it poop or crap, at the end of the day its the same dam thing....sh1t. Decent tab.
+1   October 25 2007, 01:36 am by h0tairbaloon |
i got it now... and i agree with r-man on the tuning. but if u dont tune it to the same part on the flat, it will sound a little off so u have to make sure that it's tuned down or it will sound a little off
+2   October 30 2007, 12:58 pm by 182pbass41 |

yeah c# and Db are same tthing.....

c# is a half step eup from c
Db is a half step lower than d

seeing as there are no notes in between B and C

they are the same.

If you dont believe me go on the piano...

c# and Db are same key.

Nice tab.
November 9 2007, 02:10 pm by EvilDomo |
I'm confused... Drop C#, Db, or C?
+1   November 9 2007, 02:16 pm by EvilDomo |

goddamn..... play it how you ****ing gn want to...jesus its like van haylen said "you can take my guitar and plug it
into my amp and play my song and its still not gona sound the same" PLAY THE SONG HOW YOU LIKE IT BEST if thats drop d
great....if its up 4 steps good for you. if its drop c go for it......if you wana play with hammers or
without....HOWEVER YOU WANT TO PLAY IT NOONE IS GONA GET SHOT IF YOU DONT PLAY IT EXACTLY AS PLAYED and for the reccord
for like the eight time drop Db and C# are the same

heres how it works

standard tuning- if you drop the e string 1
step (two frets, a sharp and a minor so to speak) you get drop d

drop d- if you now drop ALL the strings one step you
get drop Db (d flat)

you can do the same for standard tuning and get a minor sound...then snap a capo on at fret one
and you at standard again

drop C is ALL the strings tuned down 2 frets (drop to d, tune the guitar like that d is an
e) then drop your low e two more frets

drop C# is drop c w/ a "kapo" on at the first fret (kapo is quoted cuz you
tune to taht step higher instead of fakign it)

hahahahaah c# or db ahahhahaah
+1   January 21 2008, 09:04 pm by wdpfreak145 |
holy shit. dude. if you sit down and look at a key board, it goes like this. C natural (white key), C# (black key), D
natural (white key). thats the exact layout, trust me i play keyboards too. therefore, Db and C# are IN FACT THE SAME
NOTE. sounds to me like a band that would play in standard, if anything, but i havent watched their videos. just my take
on it folks
+1   January 29 2008, 02:48 pm by Zoso518 |
Db and C# are called enharmonics. Basically the same as homophones just written differently. Nice tab btw.
+1   February 16 2008, 03:03 pm by kumamilesbear |
ok. i'm gonna set the record straight on the Db C# argument forever.
Db and C# are, yes, enharmonics. and yes, they are the same note. it depends what key you are playing in.
look at it this way. the key of G Major has a Gb in it. but you dont write it out like that. you write F#, because the scale already has a G note in it. so, in fact, either way you write it, it is correct. you just need to take into account the key of the song. but for tuning, it doesnt matter, because they are the same note. just keep it consistent, and dont write half the strings to be tuned to Db and the other half to C#, because it will confuse others.
anyways, nice tab.
August 23 2008, 11:11 pm by gameface |
excuse me, when do you start playing this part?>
The other guitar plays the chorus

D|--x-x--x--x--x--x--x-----------------------------|3X
