Hey so this sounds really good and sounds right until you play it with the song. Its in the wrong key. You're starting on the E chord on the second fret and he starts with C. I know the tuning is right and most of it sounds right for the key its in but its 2 steps too low.

yeah, you're right but it's because he plays it a little differently in the recording. if you listen to any live versions on youtube i'm pretty sure it's as i have it above.

just had a play around and from seeing him live i reckon the tuning is GCEGCC, with the cords and fills:

Tuning that D string to an E makes all the difference. Sounds perfect. Good work man.
