this is great, in a studio clip they show the guitar capo 4, so to play it that way substitute C G Em D for E B G#m F#

someone with a tab of the same song gave this tab a 1 star rating for some reason unknown to me and that brought it down

I think there should be a Capo on the first to play it with the song.

this song sucks just like most modern rock.
more rock bands need to use the guitar more.
Bands Like Rose Hill Drive are bringing back the guitar,
but bands like the fray are a bunch of wussy people who think they are
rockstars but they are sadly mistaken...

well... i dont think this song sucks in any way, but to call this rock is a bit wrong, imo rock doesn't sound anything like this...

i also doubt there should be a B inte the intro
think it should be

E F# G#m

instead of

E B G#m

Dude Really? to call this rock and complain because they dont play the guitar, i play guitar and piano is about 10 times harder, The fray have a fresh urban sound and just cuz they dont have 12 different guitars dont mean ya gotta put um down, this tab is 100% correct 5 stars
+1   March 18 2009, 06:31 pm by SARASMiLE |
Wow, vanhailin needs to stfu && gtfo.
Just because you have no taste in music whatsoever doesnt mean you should rag on artists that do.

&& Van HALEN sucks.
Really.

I totally agree with guitarman0383.

Honestly, this should be played in capo 4 (if you can sing like him) or capo 5 (which is what most of us can seem to pull off easier). But this tab is just a perfect version of how it should be played, just transposed to standard (no capo) rather than what it should be played in - capo 4 or 5. Personally I find that the capo 4/5 version's chords are much easier to play since you're using more common chords (and much easier chords to switch from) than this, like: Em, C, G, and D in capo 4/5. Rather than these correct, for being with no capo, but more difficult chords like G#m and F#. But it's all preference really, I'll admit. But imo, I like to play the barred chords not power if you give me something like G#m, and those are harder to switch in and out of rather than Em, C, G, D, ect. which is how it CAN be played in the capo 4/5. Imo though..

I also think for this tab the chords are cluttered, there's really no possible strum pattern, you can only strum the chords once as you go through them. Imo though..

something about the ending going from F# to B to E instead of B to F# just doesnt sound right to many chord changes for a short time otherwise excellent tab and frankly i like the open version rather than the capo version it is broader more full, especially if your in a band like me that doesnt have a pianist and replaces it with guitar. a capo just doesnt suite it right. overall 5/5 thanks for the tab

Do the same chords and tab as he says, only capo 1. I think it sounds better.
