This is half a comment and have a correction. Comment: In reply to tancanada's question, the numbers are the number of steps you're taking the string's tuning down. For example, the first detune is going to be from D to C, 1 whole step. From there, you're continuing on to 2 steps, from C to Bb, and so on. I'm willing to believe that it may actually mean half steps, so you may be instead detuning from D to Db, and from Db to C, and so on, but I have a problem with detuning the 6th string in general.
Correction: I think this is a great tab, but with one problem. I don't believe detuning your bottom string is the most efficient way to play the outro. It seems like a much better and more practical idea to just use a guitar with a whammy bar and give it a dip as needed, bringing it farther down as you continue to chug away on those bottom chords. (I think the song is played using powerchords at the outro instead of single notes, otherwise your guitar doesn't give a heavy and full enough sound.) I guess it's possible to detune the string to achieve that effect, but I'm gonna save my string's life and just use a whammy.
Upon further listening to the song, it seems I am indeed wrong - he does detune his string. Sorry about the unneeded correction! Great tab for a great song.
