Really great tab, keep tabbing like this, 5 stars.

I would try to tab this song myself but just listening to it, I can tell it's way beyond my technical ability so I thought I'd check if anyone had added a decent tab of it. I haven't looked at the whole of this one but I dnt' need to. Right from the off there are glaring ommisions. I can tell just looking at it that the bass doesnt begin like that. It's more like:
|----|------------
|----|-----------
|----|-----------
|----|-----------
|----|0----------
|0-3-|--0-3-3-1-1 etc

The fact that it's wrong at the simple end makes me think it's going to be utterly unreliable come the really clever stuff. The fact that people have given this 5 stars is a bit of a worry given the fact that those same people are probably voting on which tabs should be accepted or rejected.

mate, this tab is 100% correct - the song is one of my favourite tunes, and i can play it like on the record - its spot on. The descending bassline is its trademark - played without a capo its a a g g f f e e. Im afraid youve heard it wrong

I am not the transcriber of this tab. I believe it is an error from the old days of the Usenet rec.music.guitar groups. The credit really goes to Davy Graham and Paul Simon anyway. Unfortunately, I do not know who originally created and posted the tab. robert minato

I did some digging in the Usenet archive. This appears to be the correct attribution for this version of Anji:
Transcriber:
Howard A. Landman

funny what a year can do. i've just transcribed this. it's now within my capability. this tab is badly inaccurate. the guy who said it is 100% coorect is listening to his preconceptions and not his ears. PS plays the bassline slightly differently the first time. during the first pattern he hammers and pulls off the c note on both the Am and the Am/f yet here it has a straight b note on the /f. he also hammers on the g sharp at the 1st fret of the g string together with the open E bass. this tab shows an e at the 2nd fret of the d string. that's what i call a glaring error. this ISNT the Davey Graham version! the guy who said he can play like the record needs to splash some cold water on his face or somethin.
