What is G/A? Anyone know?

G/A is a G chord with A in the bass. Easy way to play it is to play the open G chord, but don't fret the A string, and possibly lay off the fretted G on the low A string. This would be the easiest way to do this in the key of C if you are playing open C, Am and F chords. However, when listening to the song, I really am not sure it's a G/A. When played along with the Hillsongs album Beautiful Exchange - it sounds much better just played as a straight G.

The chord diagram for the G/A in the song is not correct. Note that it's identical to G - which would make sense if you played it that way because a straight G sounds better in the song.

It is actually the piano chord, the bass part of the vocal sings an A.

For the electric guitar, I just play the power chord version of each chord in the chorus. I play power chord G for G/C and power chord F for G/A. I also play powerchords in the bridge

Why does verse 2 and 3 have no chords?!?!? 1 star >:(

Lack of accuracy. Clearly wrong. Needs an F in many places. Like between the C and the G. Also, the C5 is out of place.

I beg to differ on the first two comments. I've made minor changes (the C5 among them), but this is just fine in comparison to the Hillsong version.

The chorus is perfect. But the verses needs improvement.
