Okay, so I changed some parts (yeah, the ones that sounded off) Just wrong order of chords and unnecessary one's! I do that a lot! The parts before the chorus sound better like this:

G Bm
To you, everything's funny
G
You got nothing to regret
A
I'd give all I have honey
(A)
If you could stay like that

And the same for the other part before the 2nd chorus. (I actually got the one before the ending chorus right)

*This probably wont update for days due to the weekend*

Thanks for dealing with my inadequacies! lol :)

So that messed up when I posted it!

The Bm should be at the end of "funny".
The next lines G should be at the "gret" of regret.
And the A should be at the end of "honey".

(Correction don't show unless you specifically click the show all button so I'm re posting as a comment not correction. Maybe it will post the change the right way too...)

I just want to say this is the best version of the chords that I have seen yet. You're amazing! :) I only have a couple suggestions/corrections. The intro should be D A Bm A G A then D A Bm A G just like you have. You also need that last A at the end of each chord progression in that first chorus where it says "Just try to never grow up/Never grow up" and on the progression before the bridge ("Take pictures in your mind...")

An optional note is to play G D Asus4 at the end of "So I tuck myself in and turn my nightlight on" and the line after it. You can then drop it to a normal A where you have your parenthetical A. But this could just be me liking the way that 4th sounds there :)

I just wanted to point out that transposing a song down two half steps from standard tuning is not the same as putting the capo on the 2nd fret. It would be equivalent to tuning your guitar down a whole step, which would be putting the capo on fret -2 (negative 2...) or fret 10, but you'll be an octave higher.

If you want to do that, put your capo on fret 2 and tune the guitar the same you would in standard, then take the capo off, play with no capo and you'll be tuned down a whole step (2 half steps) - however this also changes every other song you play because to play in standard you'd put the capo on the 2nd fret (such as a song you normally play on capo 3 would end up on capo 5)

I hope that makes sense...

@juztice- My whole point of the transposing note is just to get rid of that Bm chord which changes to an Am when transposed. The capo THEN is placed on the 2nd fret (because you've transposed down 2 half steps.) Play the new transposed chords with the capo on 2 and it still sounds great playing along with the song!

All the tuning stuff you talked about kind of went over my head- lol! I'm a self taught beginner and EADGBe is all I know! If my guitar didn't have an built in tuner I'd be S.O.L.:( haha!!

thanks for the transposing of the chords! you're exactly right, I do hate playing that chord, I much prefer the capo version. it sounds okay to me, thanks again! :)

Perfect-O!!!! Especially with the tranpose down 2 half steps part, it made it way easier. Thanks!♥
