Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution (BOTAR) - It's A Wonderful Life

Awesome song, definitely my favorite by them

the song is very simple

Obviously, the strumming patern is not shown, but it is very easy to pick up

Intro

  C G C

--3---3----3--------|
--5---3----5--------|
--5---4----5--------|
--5---5----5--------|
--3---5----3--------|
------3-------------|

Verse

  C Dm G C

--3----5----3----3------|
--5----6----3----5------|
--5----7----4----5------|
--5----7----5----5------|
--3----5----5----3------|
------------3-----------|

Chorus (but once again we're off to war....)

  F G Am

--1----3-----0---------|
--1----3-----1---------|
--2----4-----2---------|
--3----5-----2---------|
--3----5-----0---------|
--1----3---------------| 2 times

make sure to play the Am open, it sounds much better. the second time you do it, you only strum it once

  F G C Bm Am G F G

--1----3----0----0----0------3----1----3---------|
--1----3----1----1----1------3----1----3---------|
--2----4----0----0----2------0----2----4---------|
--3----5----2----0----2------0----3----5---------|
--3----5----3----2----0------2----3----5---------|
--1----3---------------------3----1----3---------|

the C-G are single notes, make sure you do them pretty fast, its a smooth transition

you can still barre the G chord if you want, i just think its easier doing it that way

thats basically it.

every now and then he does

e-----------|
b-----------|
g-----------|
d-----------|
a---0-2-0---|
e-3---------| after the last C in the verse, but only a few times

play the verse during the solo, and the same thing when the tempo changes for the last verse

Finally, the solo. it's basically perfect, with maybe the exceptions of the hammer ons and pull offs

e--12-10--8--7--5--3--1--0-0--1-1-1-1/3-1---|-7--5--3--1--0--1-1/3-------|
B--13-12--10-8--6--5--3--1-1--3-3-3-3/5-3---|-8--6--5--3--1--3-3/5-------|
G-------------------------------------------|----------------------------|
D-------------------------------------------|----------------------------|
A-------------------------------------------|----------------------------|
E-------------------------------------------|----------------------------|

after the line, theyre repeated, not just played once, so keep that in mind

If you don't have a friend to play the verse for you, this is when you do

A----0-2-0-------|
E--3-------------|

e--8-7-5----------------------------------------------------------------------|
b--------8-5h6p5---5----------------------------------------------------------|
g----------------7---5—5h7p5---5-5h7-5h7-5-7-5---------5—7-5-7/9-7-5-7-5------|
D----------------------------7-----------------7--5--7-------------------7----|
A-----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E-----------------------------------------------------------------------------|

e--------------------|
b-6/8-8-8-8-6-5------|
g-7/9-9-9-9-7-5------|
D--------------------|
A--------------------|
E--------------------|

And thats it.
