Ask Me Why
The Beatles
Written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney; released on single "Please Please 
Me / Ask Me Why" and on "Please Please Me" album

The B-side song of their second single. They originally wanted it to the
A-side, but they were told that it wouldn't be a "hit". But I think this one 
is a better song than "Please Please Me" (of course, I don't want to say 
that the other one is bad). Its lyrics are so sweet, explaining to the 
beloved how happy you are just to be with Her, crying because of your 
happiness, etc. A wonderful love song, I'm surprised that later it didn't 
get on to the "Love Songs" album. And Paul plays a very fine bassline, I 
especially like it in the bridges.
