Corporeal Jigsore Quandary
(Tune down 2.5 steps to B)

[Thanks to both Glenn and Gerrit Jan de Ripper for helping with this]

This song was surprisingly difficult to figure out--getting the approximate
rhythms was pretty easy, but there's a lot of palm-muting etc. which makes
it tough to tell exactly what they're playing. This should sound close,
however... (and if you can do better, what are you doing reading this when
you could be mailing me your transcriptions!?)

Intro & verses 1&4...
|-----------------|-----------------|-----------------|------------------|
|-----------------|-----------------|-----------------|------------------|

  q ssssssss e e sim.

Something similar to this riff is played over the first figure
(with a different ending the second time):
|------------------|------------------|------------------|-------------------|
|------------------|------------------|------------------|-------------------|
|-9---9/10--9---7--|-9---9/10--9---7--|-6---6/7---6---7--|-12--12/13--12--10-|

|------------------|------------------|------------------|-------------------|

Then this 2x before the first verse: (12/8 meter)

|-2------2------3------6-3-3-|-2------2-3333-3------3-6-3-|

2nd, 3rd verses...

Between 2nd, 3rd verses (12/8 meter):
|--------------------------| This is so atonal you could play just about
|--------------------------| anything and it would sound close, which makes
|--------------------------| it tough to figure out...
|-----2-------3---------5--| (plus my tape is *really* warn through in
|---------------4-----4----| places--literally hundreds of listens will do
|-0-3---5-3-4-----5-3------| that to a tape)

Before verse 4 (12/8 meter still):
|-------------------------|-------------------------|

Steer's solo ("Human Jigsaw"): (rhythm guitar is 2nd riff, 4x)
|------------------------------------------| (PM this ascending lick)
|------------------------------------------|
|----------------------------------9--9----|
|--------8----8-10-8--10-11-10-11---11-11--|
|-10-9-10---10-----------------------------|

|----------------------------|
|-14h17p14-17b19r17p14-------| etc.
|----------------------17-16-|
|----------------------------|
|----------------------------|
|----------------------------|

Then this riff, which repeats under Amott's lead:
|-----------------------------| (The last time, instead of playing the last
|-----------------------------| C#5 onwards, just play an E5(VII))
|-----------------------------| (D5 slide to E5 is just a grace note)
|----/9-8-----6-7--7/9-6------|
|-2--/7-6--9--4-5--5/7-4--7-6-|
|-0--------7--------------5-4-|

After Amott's solo...
|---------|----------|---------|----------------|
|---------|----------|---------|----------------|
|---------|----------|---------|----------------|
|-----9---|---11-7-8-|-----9---|--------7/8-8~~-|
|---7---9-|------7-8-|---7---9-|----------------|
|-0-------|-9----5-6-|-0-------|-5/6-6~~--------|
