I just watched a live acoustic version of John Fogerty playing Lodi on YouTube. The
tabs are definitely a little off.
I posted the actual chord version & the re-keyed version for those who like to play it
G.

CCR - LODI

VERSE1:
C/G
Just about a year ago
  F C/G
I set out on the road.
           C/B Am
Seekin' my fame and fortune,
F C/G
Lookin' for a pot of gold.
C/G C/B Am
Things got bad and things got worse,
  F C/G
I guess you know the tune
              G F C/G
Oh, Lord! I'm stuck in Lodi again.

VERSE2:
C/G F C/G
Rode in on the greyhound, I'll be walkin' out if I go.
           C/B Am F C/G
I was just passing through must be seven months or more.
C/G C/B Am F C/G
Ran out of time and money, looks like they took my friends.
              G F C/G
Oh, Lord! stuck in Lodi again.

VERSE3:
C/G F C/G
The man from the magazine, said I was on my way.
            C/B Am F C/G
Somewhere I lost connections, ran out of songs to play,
  C/G C/B Am F
        C/G
I came in to town a one night stand, looks like my plans fell through.
              G F C/G
Oh, Lord! I'm stuck in Lodi again.

VERSE4:
C/G F C/G
If I only had a dollar for ev'ry song I sung.
        C/B Am F C/G
N'every time I've had to play while people sat there drunk.
C/G C/B Am
You know I'd catch the next train,
F C/G
Back to where I live.
              G F C/G
Oh, Lord! I'm stuck in Lodi again.
