Bad Day

I’ve seen some pretty messed up versions of this song, but this one is very accurate; I went through it while I played the CD.

(start the song in A)
                   A
I had a bad day again
                        F#m
She said I would not understand
                              D Dm
She left a note and said I'm sorry I
                  A
I had a bad day again
(then he mutes the strings and says the verse: start strumming as soon as he says lace)
                                       A
she spilled her coffee, broke her shoe lace
                            F#m
smeared the lipstick on her face
                                D Dm
slammed the door and said I'm sorry I
                A
had a bad day again
(come in hard)
           D Em F#m
and she swears there’s nothing wrong
             D Em F#m
I hear her play that same old song
             D Bm
she puts me off and puts me on
(play a little softer)
                 A
I had a bad day again
                           F#m
she said I would not understand
                           D Dm
left a note and said I'm sorry I

(Play softer towards the end and then take a semi-hard strum)
                A
had a bad day again
                 (strum)

That’s it. If you find anything wrong, let me know. Peace!
