Tuning: Standard of course

Capo 2nd fret

Now there are a few tabs out there that do soud right, but trust me to sound exactly
the album you need to use the capo on the 2nd fret... even though some may think jack might
use a capo ever, he does on this song.

And yes, everything is relative to the capo..

intro
e|--------------------------1------------1------------------1----------------|
B|--------------1----1------0------------1--------------1---0--------------1-|
G|--------------0-0h2--2-0--0------------2--------------0---0--------------0-|
D|--------------2-----------0------------3--------------2---0--------------2-|
A|------3-5---3-------------2--5/7-5-3---3------3-5---3-----2------3-5---3---|
E|--3/5---------------------3----------1----3/5-------------3--3/5-----------|

he does this for both the first verse and the second verses, with some minor changes
in the transition slides, depending on what he is singing at the time, for example...
  when he goes
"in early september"-the guitar part matches his voice
e|--------------------1------------------------------------------------------|
B|----------------1---0------------------------------------------------------|
G|----------------0---0------------------------------------------------------|
D|----------------2---0------------------------------------------------------|
A|--3/5-3/5-3-0--3----2------------------------------------------------------|
E|-------------------3-------------------------------------------------------|

"I was crazy about you then and now the craziest thing of all" is just a simple G chord,
the next two drop off notes im not too sure about
e|--1-------------------?--1----1-?---1-------------------1--1--0---1--------|
B|--0-------------------?--3----3-?---3-------------------0--1--0---3--------|
G|--0-(hold)------------?--2----2-?---2-(hold)------------0--2--0---2--------|
D|--0-------------------?--3--2---?--0--------------------0--3--2---0--------|
A|--2-----------------------------------------------------2--3--2------------|
E|--3-----------------------------------------------------3--1--0------------|

Its a little tricky on that last little D or whatever to hit the whole thing before you
back to transition slide into the verse, so hitting just an open D string works
after that you just repeat the inro/verse then repeat the chorus if thats what its called
and after the 2nd G, F, Em, Dm?, breakdown thing just end on this..

"do you remember?"
e|-----------0---------------------------------------------------------------|
B|-----------1---------------------------------------------------------------|
G|-----------0---------------------------------------------------------------|
D|-----------2---------------------------------------------------------------|
A|------3-5--3---------------------------------------------------------------|
E|--3/5----------------------------------------------------------------------|
