  The are a lot of wrong tabs around the internet for this song, so I thought I would
it a try. By no means is this tab perfect, its my first tab.

Song: Holiday From Real
Artist: Jack's Mannequin
Album: Everything in Transit

Note: This song is in the Key of Am so all notes are natural (no sharps or flats).

Intro/verse 1: Piano and bass. Piano plays these chords: Am, G, F, Em, F (note, to try
reproduce this on guitar, try Am, G, and F barre chords and make the Em and E5)

On: "She lets me drive her car..."
E|---8-7---7-5---(5)-5/3-(3/5)----------------------|
B|-------8---------------------5-6------------------|
G|--------------------------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------------|
A|--------------------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------|

bit before chorus (guitar is only a light buzz in the background):
  /Palm muted................\
E|--------------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------------|
G|--------------------------------------------------|
D|77777777-5555555-3333-2-33------------------------|
A|77777777-5555555-3333-2-33------------------------|
E|55555555-3333333-1111-0-11------------------------|
Piano (transcribed for guitar):
 Am      G         F       F
E|--------------------------------------------------|
B|----5--------3-------1-------1--------------------|
G|------5--------4-------2-------2------------------|
D|--7-------5--------3-------3----------------------|
A|--------------------------------------------------|
E|5-------3--------1-------1------------------------|

CHORUS (its quite hard to tell what’s going on here because there are many instruments
the guitar(s) are quite quiet compared to them, but when I play this[and I don’t just
this by myself] I play:)

E|5--------3-------1----0-1-------------------------|
B|5--------3-------1----0-1-------------------------|
G|5--------4-------2----x-2-------------------------|
D|77777777-5555555-3333-2-333-----------------------|
A|77777777-5555555-3333-2-333-----------------------|
E|55555555-3333333-1111-0-111-----------------------|
   ....... ...... ... ..etc (play it with the song and it makes a bit more sense)

Verse 2:
Piano (for guitar):
Am      G         F       F
E|--------------------------------------------------|
B|----5--------3-------1-------1--------------------|
G|------5--------4-------2-------2------------------|
D|--7-------5--------3-------3----------------------|
A|--------------------------------------------------|
E|5-------3--------1-------1------------------------|

On : “I never thought I’d be living on your floor”
E|---8-7---7-5---(5)-5/3-(3/5)----------------------|
B|-------8---------------------5-6------------------|
G|--------------------------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------------|
A|--------------------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------|

CHORUS again, but ending play:

E|--------------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------------|
G|--------------------------------------------------|
D|-7-7/5(5)/3/2-------------------------------------|
A|-x-x-x-x--x-x-------------------------------------|
E|-5-5/3(5)/1/0-------------------------------------|

BRIDGE (I can’t tell what the hell is going on here, but C, which is the relative major
Am is definitely involved…a key switch maybe?)

CHORUS (again)

Legend:
/     = slide up
\     = slide down
h     = hammer on
p     = pull off
x     = muted note
()    = Ghost Note
.     = Palm muting
