    1968 wasn't just The Summer of Love. Lots of things kept happening 
    all the year through. The band had already been playing most of the 
    songs from this album for some months when they began recording it, 
    so they knew what they wanted to do. And what they did was show the 
    world what an amazing band this was and would be for many years. 
    For me THIS WAS is much more than a blues album as the press called
    it. It is like a fine jewel's first glimpse.
