Breakaway Chords by Kelly Clarkson, www.Ultimate-Guitar.Com

This is my first tab and I've only been playing a year, so it's really simple.
If you're more advanced, you can probably figure out some things to give it a
little more flavor, but for just playing and singing along these chords work
pretty well. Also, check out the song for the strumming pattern.

Intro:
Am G C F
Da da da n da da, Da da da n da da
Am G C x2
Da da da n da da da da

Verse:
Am G
Grew up in a small town
C F
And when the rain would fall down
Am G F
I'd just stare out my window
Am G
Dreaming of what could be
C F
And if I'd end up happy
Am G C
I would pray

Am G
Trying hard to reach out
C F
But when I tried to speak out
Am G F
Felt like no one could hear me
Am G
Wanted to belong here
C F
But something felt so wrong here
Am G C
So I'd pray
Am G D F
I could break away

Chorus:
C G
I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly.
     Am F
I'll do what it takes till I touch the sky.
C
Make a wish, take a chance,
G Am G F
Make a change, and break away.
C G
Out of the darkness and into the sun.
    Am F
But I won't forget all the ones that I love.
     C
I'll take a risk, take a chance,
G Am G C
Make a change, and break away

Bridge:
G
Buildings with a hundred floors
Am
Swinging with revolving doors
G Am

Am F
Though it's not easy to tell you goodbye
C
Make a wish, take a chance,
G Am G F
Make a change, and break away.
C G
Out of the darkness and into the sun.
Am F
But I won't forget the place I come from
        C
I gotta take a risk, take a chance,
G Am G F
Make a change, and break away
Am G F
Break away
Am G C
Break away

It's also a nice ending to repeat the intro one time and finish with a single strum on the C chord.
