Tuning (this tab): Drop D [ D A D G B E ]
Difficulty: novice
Ok, this is my first tab, so go easy. I've been playing for 4 years, but I thought I
start my tabbing experience with something fairly simple, just to get into the swing of it...
I looked at other tabs and something just didn't sound right to me, so I decided to make
own. I assume it's tuned to Drop D, as most Linkin Park
songs are, but you should be able to figure it out in standard tuning if
you prefer...

Piano intro (transcribed on guitar):

E|---10---10-11p10---10-|
B|-8----8----------8----|
G|----------------------|
D|----------------------|
A|----------------------|
D|----------------------|
this is repeated throughout the song, but is really only heard
in the intro and verses (and at the very end).

Intro (lead guitar):

D|-xx--5-5-5-5-5-5-5-5------------------3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-----------------|

(end on A5)

Verse 1:(Piano riff is repeated for each line)

In this farewell,
there's no blood,
there's no alibi.
Cause I've drawn regret,
from the truth,
of a thousand lies.

Pre-chorus: (piano part just plays 10th fret high E until chorus comes in)

So let mercy come
and wash away.

Chorus (lead):
E|-xxxx----------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|-xxxx----------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|-xxxx-3-3-3-3-3-3--2-2--3-3-3-3-3-3--5-5-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2--0-0-0-0-0-0--2-2-|

Chorus (rhythm):

D|-xxxx--5-5-5-5-5-5-5-5------------------3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-----------------|

What I've done,
I'll face myself,
To cross out what I've become,
Erase myself,
and let go of what I've done.

Verse 2: (piano riff repeated again)

Put to rest,
What you thought of me.
While I clean this slate,
with the hands of uncertainty.

Pre-chorus (Same as above)

What I've done,
I'll start again,
And whatever pain may come.
Today this ends,
I'm forgiving what I've done.

Chorus (same as above)

Outro: play the chorus riff (lead and rhythm)

What I've done
(na na na, na na na, na na na, na na na)

then the piano part, and end on the na nas, and you're done. =D
please comment and rate, as I'm sure I made some sort of mistake, though I tried not to.
