Play the first chords Em on the 7th fret and Am at the 5th
the Am9 is easy to get then.

eg:-   Em=779987 Am=577555 Am9=577557

C* (Just standard C only on the third fret) must be played after standard C to sound right

C=032010  C*=335553

- means slide up to next chord

eg C* - D

I only play the top 2 strings when I go from G - G#m

I only play G like this G=355433 in this song
