[main riff]

e|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
b|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
g|-----12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-13-12------12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-13-12------12-----12---12-12------------------12------------------|
d|-10---------------------------------------10---------------------------------------10-----12-----8----------------15--14----------|
a|------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------10-11-----------------|
e|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|

This riff actually has slight variations which are different in the 'all that could of been version' from the pretty hate machine version.

[late guitar riff]

e|---------------------------------|
b|---------------------------------|
g|---------------------------------|
d|-8--10--12--8---------15--14-----|
a|--------------8---10-------------|
e|---------------------------------|

This riff comes in towards the end of the song thus I named it late guitar riff for easy
reference.

[unison late riff version]

e|-------------------------------------|
b|-------------------------------------|
g|------------------10--12-------------|
d|-8--10--12--8---------------15--14---|
a|------------------8---10----13--12---|
e|-----8--10--10-----------------------|

[bass line](during singing)

[lyrics]

"you always were the one to show me how, back then I couldn't do the things that I can
do now, this thing is slowly taking me apart, grey would be the color, if I had a heart,
come on tell me, you make this all go away, you make this all go away, I'm down to just
one thing, and I'm starting to scare myself, you make this all go away, you make it all
go away, I just want something, I just want something I can never have, in this place it
seems like such a shame, though it all looks different now, I know its still the same,
everywhere I look your always there, just the fading fucking reminder of who I used to be,
come on tell me, you make this all go away, you make this all go away, I'm down to just one
thing, I'm starting to scare myself, you make this all go away, you make this all go away,
I just want something, I just want something I can never have......I just want something I
can never have"

[note]

Trent has done this song various ways, and usually eventually he has multiple the parts
playing at the same time towards the end of the song, so listen to the song, experiment
a little, but I guarantee this is right, I listened to it, and checked it over many times
to make sure. Thats it, and if you need any help email me at ss4_aaron@yahoo.com, or
speed_racer420@hotmail.com, those are also my messanger names, so you can contact me
there too, have a great time with this song!
