Elevate Me Later
By: Pavement
Off of Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain
(Matador Records)
Transcribed by Adam Finley (finleya@central.edu)

Opening riff: G A C D F

The verse uses these same chords, same order minus the F.

Then there is a chord change:

           C D G
for we are shamed and the court house is double breast,
     A C D
I'd like to check out your bodily protest, so why you

complainin? Ta!

------------------------------------------------
those lyrics are wrong, but its pavement, what do you expect from me? And
those chords are roughly in the right spots. It's not hard to here the changes
though. Elevate Me Later is one of their less distorted songs.
