Rage Against The Machine "Ashes In The Fall"
>From the album "The Battle Of Los Angeles"

Tabbed By: JP Fernandez

Drop D tuning, low to high: D A D G

After the guitar intro, play Fig. 1

              G----5-7-------------------
Fig. 1 D-----------0-------------
              A------------------------
              D------------------------

Then, When Zach says "This is the new sound" turn your volume knob all the
way down, play a low D, then turn the volume knob all the way up gradually,
making a nice crescendo.

              G------------------------
Fig. 2 D------------------------
              A------------------------
              D---0-------------------

After Fig. 2, play this. its the same as Fig. 1, only one octave lower...

              G------------------------
Fig. 3 D------------------------
              A--3--5--------------------
              D----------0--------------

Thats it, pretty simple. At the end of the song, if you have an echo pedal,
play the low D muted, letting it echo a while
