This song comes from the mostly excellent 2007 album Living With The Living. It's my
tab as well, so forgive me if it sucks and move on.

Riff:
e--------------------------|
B-----3-----3-----3-----3--|
G---0-----0-----0-----0----|
D-2-----0------------------|
A-------------3------------|
E-------------------3------|

Play the riff 3 times and then
Variation:
e------------------3--3-|
B-----3-----3------3--3-|
G---0-----0--------0--0-|
D-2-----0----------0--0-|
A-------------0----2--2-|
E---------------3--3--3-|

Em C
Nine years down the road and I remember it still,

G Em
Standing on the corner back in Govanhill -

Em C
Nine days out from home, feeling no pain,

G Em
The northern city sun breaking through the rain;

Em C G
That warmthless sun barely shinin' on

[Riff]x4 and then the [Variation]
Me and yooooouuuu and a bottle of Buckie
Me and you-hooooo and a bottle of Buckie

Em C
Nine years come and gone since I left you at home

          G Em
And this restless soul of mine has me startin' to roam,

Em C
But the first time I stood by the banks of the Clyde,

       G Em
I was so glad to have you standing back by my side.

Em C G
So proud of what we were doing, oh

[Riff]x8 and then the [Variation]
Me and yooooouuuu and a bottle of Buckie
Me and you-hooooo and a bottle of Buckie
Me and yououooooo and a bottle of Buckie
Me and you-hooooo and a bottle of Buckie

       C G
Well I knew by the dew in your starry eyes,

           Em C
It was the day we both had studied for for all of our lives,

         C G
Whether bold missionaries, or a Children's Crusade,

Em C
No fear, pioneers, we were on our way,

           C G
And there never were nothin' that could get in our way (oh!)

Tin whistle solo at 1:32
   Em C
e--0-00-0-00-3-2-0-------------------------|
B------------------3-0-0-00-0-00-----------|
G--------------------------------2-0-------|
D------------------------------------2-0-2-|
A------------------------------------------|
E------------------------------------------|

   G Em C
e--0-2-3-5-3-2-0---0-2-0-------7-5-3-2-3-2-0---0-2-0---0-|
B----------------3-------3-0-----------------3-------3---|
G--------------------------------------------------------|
D--------------------------------------------------------|
A--------------------------------------------------------|
E--------------------------------------------------------|

    Em G
e---7-5-3-2-3-2-0-----|
B-----------------3-0-|
G---------------------|
D---------------------|
A---------------------|
E---------------------|

         Em C
Then the Neds with their knuckles and their Burberry scarves,

            G Em
They said, "How'd you Jersey boys ever make it this far?"

         Em C
But you jumped in between and said, "Listen, my son:"

        G Em! Em!
Said, "You don't know nothin' about-a where we're from,

Em c G
You don't know nothin' about-a why it's now

[Riff]x8
Me and yooooouuuu and a bottle of Buckie
Me and you-hooooo and a bottle of Buckie
Me and yououooooo and a bottle of Buckie
Me and you-hooooo and a bottle of Buckie (Hey!)

Now play the Riff some more, but this time start strumming them, as in:

  A7sus4 G-ish Cadd9 G
e-3-------3-------3-------3------|
B-3-------3-------3-------3------|
G-0-------0-------0-------0------|
D-2-------0-------2-------0------|
A-----------------3-------2------|
E-------------------------3------|

Of course the chords aren't exact, but that's what I play and it sounds fine. Do it over the last verse:

Three times I've been back in my wandering ways.
Last time it was July, during Marching Days,
When someone said to run from that bitter parade,
But I knew what you would do and I decided to stay;
And I knew no one ever got the better of (the) me and yoooouuuuu

End with 4x[Riff] and 1x[Variation]

Enjoy it. I do.
