And upon leaving, those big bands had to play their final gigs, right? That's what we're about to focus on with a brief rundown, as we bring you final concerts of 8 bonafide rock legends, go!

The Beatles - Apple Corps Ltd, London, UK - 30 January 1969

Much like anything The Beatles ever did, their final show was also a legendary and pioneering in many ways. It was the iconic rooftop show atop of their Apple Corps HQ. The show was ended by the cops.

Don't forget Pink Floyd, Live 8, London July 2nd 2005. The first concert featuring Roger Waters in about 24 years, and the last together before the passing of Richard Wright in 2008.

Well apparently Oasis are a legendary band, good to know. Instead of Lynyrd Skynyrd (the original lineup), you guys picked Oasis.

About a month before Kurt Cobain's suicide, Nirvana played what turned out to be their last show ever in Munich, Germany, delivering a cool set marred with technical issues and Kurt's bronchitis and laryngitis. Cobain was deliberately sabotaging the tour by screaming in order to destroy his voice. He wanted out, which was proven by his actions in Rome and.... well the remainder is pretty obvious. As for remarking that Led Zeppelin's last gig with the classic line up seems irrelevant since the Sex Pistols have toured extensively with their original line up and The Doors have been playing in various iterations over the last couple of decades.
