Iron Maiden - Phantom of the Opera, every single bassline in that is fantastic!

Sleep - Dragonaut, as well as pretty much everything else by Sleep except Some Grass, simply becuase that song doesn't have a bassline.
The Mob - No doves fly here
Pink Floyd - Set the controls for the heart of the sun

That's the RHCP "riff" of choice? And Another One Bites The Dust instead of Chic - Good Times; hoooow :

A weird article if you ask me. First of all, the tabs are messy and sometimes even 2nd of all nothing about the song or the bassline! He's just posting the songs with the tabs. And Iron Man is not a bassriff, it's a riff played by both the guitar and bass.

I'm actually really happy that Lounge Act made the list. Not everyone realises how cool these lines are. Extremely fun to play, too!

if Muse then i say Hysteria
    Emperor's Child
Or Futurism... Honestly, Muse are all about the bass lines. It's a crime for them to not be on this list.

Good choices although some are more guitar lines than they are known basslines ex.) smoke on the water, iron man, dazed and confused

Agree with that. If you wanna do a DP bassline then Woman From Tokyo or Space Trucking are far more interesting and fun to play
