The video for 13 and 15 are the same
    dickbasket
I noticed that too but thought, "eh, that song deserves to be on here twice."
    vguitars3577
15 is much more offensive and embarrassing IMO. I'd be ashamed of directing or claiming any part of that song...Holy Fuck. However, not saying at all that 13 is good...also a fucking atrocity. But when you talk about busting a nut or having a girl swallow to taste success like in 13, that's just fucked up man...anyway I'll go now
    BlackDeath92
Really? Def Leppard's Pour Some Sugar On Me? Sure, it's overplayed, but I never would have guessed that the UG community would deem it "cringeworthy".
    iamalexd
    rockstar isn't that bad.
    godking69
Yeah, that one song by Buckcherry is way worse. Bitch or Crazy Bitch or whatever its called....
    richard.warts
Agreed. If you insist on putting Nickelback at the top of the list, at least use one of their crappier songs rather than one of their decent ones.
    soundsabbath
I personally cringe to fuck everytime i hear Jump by Van Halen. I love a lot of their songs but I really fucking hate that Song! Personal preferences suppose.
    d.sharpe1095
While I do like Hollywood Undead, mainly as just entertainment and not for deep content, Day of the Dead is one of the least cringe-inducing songs they have. Listen to something like Pigskin or War Child. And putting Rockstar at #1 simply for the sake of putting Nickelback up there is stupid. FFDP definitely should have that spot.
    Reevo
Im an avid HU fan, and while they actually have some really good stuff (Imo Bullet is a genius of a song, happy music over a really dark story) they have some downright laughable ones as well. Pigskin i only like purely for the bass, the lyrics are beyond horrible. Gangsta Sexy and Delish could give Pigskin a run for its money as well.. yikes
    Reevo
Still say Bad Girls Club should've won over Alone by Falling In Reverse. Loved their first album then hearing Alone was hard enough, BGC was just a slap in the face with a frying pan. No idea what Ronnie was trying to do but whatever it was, it went wrong..
    AlexGreat123
He kind of corrected it on the third album (somewhat) Hopefully the new album isn't terrible
    jarneapril
i'm sorry but some of these songs are acctually enjoyable to listen to, bad list imo
    Tha Funkinator
I agree...well, for the songs I recognize on the list. I'm trying to think of songs that really make me cringe. Roger Taylor's contributions to Queen: "Tenement Funster" is almost okay, but there's a bit where he sings in a stupid terrible falsetto and ruins it. And I don't like "I'm in Love with My Car" from top to bottom, like the forced rhymes ("Told my babe, I had to forget her/Had to buy a new carboureter...String-back gloves for my automo-love). I'm hoping it's supposed to be intentionally that stupid. Post-Waters Pink Floyd: There's plenty to pick from, given David Gilmour's unfortunate inability to stretch beyond the AABB rhyme scheme, but "One Slip" might be the worst because I'm pretty sure it's about him having an affair to solve his midlife crisis, given that it's written like a cheap romance novel ("'I will, I will,' she sighed to my request/And she tossed her mane, as my resolve was put to the test") Foreigner, "Hot Blooded": It's about having sex with an underage groupie ("Are you old enough?/Will you be ready when I call your bluff?" and in the outro you can hear "(Hot blooded! ) You're driving me wild/(Hot blooded!) I'm so hot for you, child.") That's gross, dude. At least Kip Winger made sure she was SEV-EN-TEEEEEN.
    tied_in_bronze_chains
You have a neck beard, don't you.
    Tha Funkinator
Nah, it's usually just some stubble. Anyway, if I were a neckbeard, I'd be defending "Hot Blooded" because "'a female is sexually mature by 13, so it should be acceptable for a 20something to date them because that was the average age of marriage in the Middle Ages."
    eddiehimself
Sorry, but From This Day is a freakin' awesome song, fuck what all the haters say. Also, Butterfly isn't exactly rock and metal so it's hardly fair to have it on this list.
    jordo246
Yep, The Burning Red is hated for no other reason than it's a change in style and for some reason that automatically means bad in the minds of metalheads.
    orioncomplex
Rockstar is a horrible song but i never really thought of it as cringeworthy. Its mundane and generic and bad but it doesnt make me cringe. That five finger death punch song is definitely cringweorthy. This is the first time i have heard it and i literally couldnt finish it.
    jameskileymusic
so the list isn't actually cringeworthy songs, just songs the ug community doesn't like pretty much?
    vppark2
You do realize it's called a poll for a reason and this excludes other genres that aren't rock or metal, right?
    Rebel Scum
Fuck you community. I didn't know Ozzy & Kelly did a duet for that until now.
    metaljay21
It's funny, scrolling through this list. Thought to myself "I'm betting a Nickelback song is number 1..." I get to number 1 and sure enough...
    cooper9934
I think that was the first time i listened to every song. Some horrible, horrible music on that list. I never thought I would say it but I think out of the choices I like Nookie the best.... and I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.
    ScottStewart1
I think that FFDP song beats anything ever done by Nickleback. Plus I'd say the Lou Reed song is way worse than the kid rock one.
    m4ss3 m/
All Summer Long sounds like a total Sweet Home Alabama rip off.
    Iconoclord
It's a homage. A fucking terrible one, but since he literally says the words "singing Sweet Home Alabama all summer long" in the song I think it gets a free pass from being considered a rip off. Doesn't get a free pass from being considered shit though.
    Rajah
*slow clap* You're kidding aren't you? Anyways, it's a mash up of Warren Zevon's "Werewolves Of London" and Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Sweet Home Alabama.
    dewitt
It kind of sounds a little bit like Werewolves of London, too. Weird.
    tomwebbsayshi
Great list. Don't want to miss a thing - Aerosmith should have made a spot on here though
    vissotskywalker
Wait this Attack Attack thing, their clip is a joke right??
    solomonkane
exactly what I thought too some kind of crazy mash up with the vocals too then the dance thing started and what the hell is crab core the way they were posing strutting.....that what the _____says didnt get nominated this time
    Arthur6767
#7 yep that's my 1. And that Styx song, Mr. Roboto or something.
    Tha Funkinator
Oh man, how did "Mr Roboto" not get on there? From being the nth rockstar to write a "rock opera" about how Some Futuristic Authoritarian Government bans rock music because it's too "real" but a lone kid with a guitar defies them and overthrows the system with The Power Of Music, to the weird robot call-and-response bit in the middle, and the lack of subtlety in the lyrics, and ending with Dennis DeYoung screaming "I'm KILROY! Kilroy! Kilroy!..." I think it goes from "bad", straight through "so bad it's good" back around to "so bad it's good it's bad again".
    TheMattGusta
Day of the Dead isn't really that bad of a song though... Crazy Bitch deserved to be on this list a whole lot more guys
    vppark2
Thanks for the quote haha BTW, how is Brokencyde even considered metal? Just from the ridiculous screams?
    svelle
Whenever I see or hear a brokencyde song I always think to myself that this is what music would sound like in Idiocracy or some sort of YouTube parody or these fake TV shows in 'God Bless America' and then I remember that people are actually listening to this shit and that this is real life.
    richard.warts
As much as I love Def Leppard and Warrant, Their songs on this list are DEFINITELY cringeworthy. And on that note, I'm genuinely surprised that "We Built This City" didn't get number one! Giving it to Nickelback is a bit of a cop out. I do disagree with a few of these, though. Last Resort doesn't deserve to be here. Limp Bizkit have much more deserving songs. And although it's only an honorable mention, Unskinny Bop? Really?!

All Summer Long isn't a gem of a track by any means but it is nowhere near the league of Rockstar and Jekyll and Hyde.
    JOHNSTONE6
Five finger death punch is thee worst band of all time in my opinion...Jekyll & Hyde is bad but have you heard The Pride?
    xulapostasy
I actually think the view is pretty rockin'. The guitars are heavy, there is a great rhythm to the song. Lar's drum tone isn't nearly as bad as usual (snare could have a little more punch to it but could be worse). And James' vocals aren't as hillbilly-ish as usual. What's to complain about? no thrash beats?
    logicbdj
    1. I was made for loving you (Kiss) is a melodic riff from Pink floyd's DOGS... it's catchy, even if Simmons won't admit where it came from. 2. Starship's We built this city is catchy and you can sing to it... strong melody!!! 3. Nickleback's Rock Star is nothing special, but it's there... hardly cringe-worthy and modern. 4. Cherry Pie? Come on! It's a stripper song... and so who on this site is against the strippers??!!??
    lizzyg1958
I have one thing to say about this list. Why the hell is "I Was Made For Loving You" on it?
    PaisleyWilde
I think that when the song had first come out Kiss fans really hated it. This was the era of "Disco sucks!", and many fans considered the song to be disco. It has had a bad reputation among fans of the band since then!
    AchillesLastSta
    Easy targets for simpletons.
    bangbang!!
You know the Rock/Metal scene has enough pretentious pricks already, right? There's no void that needs filling. Please stop making more people think we're all self-absorbed neckbeards.
    AchillesLastSta
I don't give a shit about you or any stupid fucking scene. Please continue to take drugs and rid this world of your filth. By the way most UG users don't think for themselves, they have every media out there telling them AND you what to do and think. PS: I hope you have a firearm and one of your defective offspring decides to go bang bang on you and the rest of your family.
    bangbang!!
Gotcha. I say "hey maybe don't be such a jerk" You say "take drugs and kill yourself btw THE MEDIA CONTROLS YOU" Life's not about being right all the time, man. It's about being a decent person to those you interact with. Even on the internet (I know, crazy idea).
    AchillesLastSta
Unlike your kind of spineless, degenerative folk. I can admit when I'm wrong but in this case I'm not and the fact you want to play the "nice guy" shows how useless and worthless you are. It's unfortunate you're part of the majority in this sick society.
    dominiquep12
"Unlike your kind of spineless, degenerative folk. I post bashing comments anonimously under an alias!" -AchillesLastStand
    davekingrules
While I'm fully aware I'm just feeding a troll, I have to ask: How is wanting a stranger and his family to die not wrong? That's pretty f***ed up. Also, to any Mod: Isn't there a clear rule about No Hate Speech here? Jeez, this guy is vile.
    AchillesLastSta
How do you poor excuses for human beings live with yourselves? It must take a lot of prescribed medication and some of mommy and daddy's cough medicine to make it through your rough day.
    Arthur6767
Funniest thing ever. How sad to troll a guitar site. Shouldn't you like be on some news page or something calling people libtard or rethuglican? What function is this playing in your life. Stop typing and ask why.
    Walldude63
Actually we take drugs just so we don't belong in the same category as narcissistic self absorbed little pricks like you. I'm sorry your dick is so small you feel the need to make up for it by disparaging musicians. Your lack of vision, lack of class, lack of talent and your lack of anything, pertaining to being a decent human being are just some of the many things that cause musicians and other artists to tell the world to fuck off. Your world is filled with hate, fear, stupidity, bigotry, racism, classism, sexism, pain, war, conflict, and a moronic sense of superiority. You are so fucking far out of your league the best you can come up with is a decades old lame ass shot at getting high. "Please continue to take drugs and rid this world of your filth." LMFAO, that's all you got? You pathetic hack, maybe someday you will crawl out of mommy's basement like the little grub you are to show the world how great you are. But for now please keep posting here as I could use some more laughs.
    Scarface88
@AchillesLastStand You talk like a Dragonball Z baddie... You ascended to a level of cringeworthy idiocy beyond that of cringeworthy idiocy! @Walldude (and others) Hey, we don't all take drugs! Seems there's a bit of a generalisation that metal fans do so. I love metal, but hate drugs. Nothing against people that use them, mind. To each his own, etc.
    bangbang!!
Yeah, I don't get the drugs thing either. Seems like a really dated assumption to make.
    AchillesLastSta
Go watch cartoons and play with your toys before mommy finds out you're online while you're on timeout.
    the_bi99man
Jesus tapdancing Christ, achilles. Calm the fuck down and grow up.
    AchillesLastSta
Edgy blasphemer, I'll be cool like you from now on. I can wait until you cretins become statistics.
    Abacus11
How sad and lonely are you REALLY?!? I normally wouldn't take the 30 seconds or so to even attempt to communicate with someone like you anonymously on the internet... but SERIOUSLY... People having some fun with some goofy songs on UG bothers you THIS MUCH? Get off of the computer, make some friends, find a hobby or a job or get laid or do SOMETHING. It legitimately worries me that there is someone out there as confused and miserable as you are that is using ANY of their energy on comments sections on the internet. You might just not be emotionally mature enough yet to participate on a level that's healthy... even for a troll.
    AchillesLastSta
    You got that?!
    nuclear1250
Just stop now: you're just embarrassing yourself at this point.
    AchillesLastSta
Your caretaker shouldn't let you out of your cage or cellar. Now THAT would lead to a lot of embarrassment.
    nuclear1250
You mean to tell me that you are that so easily bothered about a ranking list online (that the users of this website voted for, just for FUN), that you are still insulting us at every given opportunity, and even saying that you hope we all die from a drug overdose and that "I hope you have a firearm and one of your defective offspring decides to go bang bang on you and the rest of your family"? Do you actually realise how fucking pathetic you are acting right now? For the love of all that is holy, please: leave the internet and never return.
    the_bi99man
Don't worry about it. He'll kill himself before too long, nobody will notice, and this pathetic chapter of existence will finally end when a cleaning lady discovers his corpse like 10 months later.
    thegreatgambeen
How about that shitty Atilla video where the shitty Falling in Reverse video is supposed to be? *cringes* (P.S. Hire me to do your proofreading.)
    Denwylde
I'm disgusted iron maiden's virus didn't make it on here Apparently someone somewhere likes this s**t!!!!!
    pressureproject
I had no idea Rob Flynn sunk to that level. That's about as sell-out as you can get.
    scottishmob
Yeah I knew they had been nu-metal at first but I didn't really understand either - I'm a little bit surprised. I mean whoa what just happened haha
    BledGhostWhite
Would like to mention Gorgeous Nightmare by Escape The Fate and Cherry Orchards by Celtic Frost. Ooh, and Radikult by Morbid Angel.
    Lugas
Why hate on the original "Changes"? It´s an Amazing song.
    Thedarkchild
"OOOOOEEEEEOOOOOEEEEOOOOO" always sound like "all we are, we are" to me. Still wouldn't fir with the rest of the lyrics though. So I had a look online and all the lyrics say it's "Oh, yo, yo", which is even worse. EDIT: Oh my god, just heard "brokeNCYDE - Freaxxx" for the first time. God it's aweful! Horrible even!
