Any models youd recommend from the Sennheisers? Those are the ones ive been looking at. Could you give me any details on key differences between the 201 and 202? Just because the 201 is a suspiciously low price on amazon compared to the other.

I'm old enough to remember when vinyl and 8 tracks were the only way to own music, I have about 175 LP records my collection from the 80s and about a third of them from a collection that was given to me from the 70s I still have a nice turntable too, I have about 300 CDs also.

i just put a new needle on my record player and spliced the speaker wires back together a few weeks ago. (cat chewed through them about 5 years ago)

listened to my copy of Metaphysical Graffiti firat since it already had a tendency to skip and didnt want to risk scratching anythig else in case the needle was somehow defective.

then i ran through a bunch of my shit i havent listened to since before i dropped out of college.

only things ive picked up recently are an old old version of some Angry Samoans 12" and a reissue of Vicious Circle.

theres actually a little record store at the dingy old mall near me now. didnt have a whole loy in the way of my usual punk shit, but its close enough that i can go pretty often and see what theyve got.

hm, i bet my Descendents records came today and are either sitting in front of the apartment building in the rain, or behind it front of the wrong garage door because my mailman's an idiot.

Picked up Metallica - Whiplash and At The Drive In - Rolodex Propaganda for a total of 7 quid at the Guildford record fair. If any of you are local to Guildford Surrey and fancy going let me know, the owners a great guy, it's full of a huge mix of stuff and it's near a few good pubs so we can grab a pint.

Also took my girlfriend to Brighton for the day and always visit cult records. Last time i picked up RTJ, this time Interpol - Antics. Great little shop.

I recently started a bit of a vinyl collection. It started as a coincidence, but I ended up buying more. Admittedly, I'm going to assume I'm one of the more unorthodox users here because 1.) I'm just buying them for decoration purposes (hanging them on my walls and they look great), and 2.) the collection itself.

So far I have
-Armor For Sleep - What To Do When You Are Dead (only 1,000 were made)
-Hail The Sun - Culture Scars
-Rise Against - Siren Song
-Rise Against - The Sufferer & The Witness
-Rise Against - Endgame
-Silverstein - This Is How The Wind Shifts
-Silverstein - I Am Alive In Everything I Touch
-The Killers - Hot Fuss

I want to buy Armor For Sleep's "Smile For Them" but the only one I can find is $200.

Haven't updated this in awhile, but here's the stuff I got lately:
Cap'n Jazz - Analphabetapathology (limited orange)
REM - Dead Letter Office
U2 - Boy
U2 - War
U2 - Joshua Tree
Oasis - Definitely Maybe
Gerard Way - Hesitant Alien
Sonic Youth - Sister
Radiohead - The Bends
Weezer - Blue Album

Some of them are OG, and Boy is the UK release, so it doesn't have the old US cover.
