Screw the rules, I want three amps, and I'm good with one guitar. Punk and (post)-hardcore.

Some Frankenstein guitar. Basswood body, shaped like a slightly more badass Ibanez RG, no pickguard. String through tune-o-matic. Strat scale length. Ibanez Wizard neck, rosewood fretboard. SD Distortion in the bridge. Two Strat single coils for mid/neck. One volume one tone for single coils. Bridge HB has no knobs. Think that covers everything

For amps:
Vox AC30
JCM800
Engl Powerball

Not too knowledgeable on pedals but:
Digital Delay
Chorus capable of subtlety
EQ
OD for boost
RG351DX - Bridge Dragonfire Screamer, Mid+Neck Fender Hot Noiseless
Peavey Valveking 112 - Eminence GB128
AMT E1 > Joyo AC Tone > Dan'o EQ > Shimverb > Digidelay

Oh shit titties I forgot my bass rig.
****.

Ok, here goes.

Basses:
Fender American Deluxe Jazz V 5-string (transparent wine red, damn sexy) (for E, A, and Drop G)
My Ibanez EDB 405 5-string (a weird transparent matte-black that sometimes looks green, sometimes grey, sometimes black) (for standard, B-standard, and Drop A)
Fender American Standard P-Bass (for Eb and Drop C#)

Amps:
My Trace Elliot 500-7 head
A Mesa/Boogie Big Block 700 head

Cabs:
Trace Elliot 2x15
Ampeg 8x10

Pedals:
BOSS BD-2, Ibanez TS9B, MXR M-181 Blowtorch, Red Witch Empress, Red Witch Deluxe Moon
All I really need for good bass tone is a few different dirt pedals for different driven tones, a chorus and a phase/flange. And of course a good amp.
Fender 72' Deluxe Tele
Schecter Damian Elite 7
Fender '62 Reissue Jazz Bass (MIJ)

Well, I have my dream rig.

Gibson Les Paul Standard Faded, through a Jmi Tonebender MkII and then into a Marshall Vintage Modern half stack.

The only thing I want is my 3 pickup 57 reissue if that'll ever get here...

Electric Guitars
  • Suhr Classic Antique or Modern
  • Tom Anderson Drop Top Classic or Classic
  • James Tyler Studio Elite
  • PRS Private Stock Custom 24
  • Vintage 1959 Gibson Les Paul
  • Vintage Pre-CBS Fender Stratocaster, one in rosewood and other in maple
  • Ibanez J-Custom, or what Paul Gilbert and Vai used before their signature models
  • Yamaha SG2000
  • Vintage Gibson ES-355

I'm just talking out of my ass... I don't even exactly know which year was THE year for Les Pauls and Strats... . As for the Suhr, Tom Anderson and Tyler... I haven't even tested them out, but it just so happens that one of my favorite guitar players, Guthrie Govan plays and endorses Suhrs. Aren't the three like the Bugatti of electric guitars? Anyways, Tom Anderson sounded fantastic in real life! A lucky band mate of mine has one of them!

If I had to follow the rules, I'd pick
  • A 1959 Gibson Les Paul
  • A Pre-CBS Fender Stratocaster, in maple
  • An Ibanez J-Custom or A Suhr Modern

Please don't let me start with acoustics... lol.

Amplification
  • Soldano SLO-100 Super Lead Overdrive
  • Marshall JCM 800
  • Marshall Plexi
  • Mesa Boogie Mark V
  • Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier
  • Peavey 5150
  • Carvin Legacy
  • Fender Twin Reverb
  • Bogner Uberschall

I don't know much about amplifiers, but if I had to choose two it would be these two:

  • Soldano SLO-100 Super Lead Overdrive
  • Fender Twin Reverb

Effect Pedals

If it's unlimited...I want it all, ... but let's say if I had to choose ten...

An original Fuzz Face
Univox Superfuzz
Klon Centaur
Electro Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man
BOSS CE-1
Univox Univibe
MXR Flanger
Dunlop Crybaby
TC Electronic G-System
Line 6 HD500

If I had to choose one from each category...
  • Suhr Modern
  • Soldano SLO-100
  • TC Electronic G-System

So I guess... that's around...$13,000 USD?

I have a teaked and gainy 1/2 power Twin head and it's one half of my dream rig. I'd like a 2x12 of the lowest efficiency speakers available, probably Eminence Mavericks. Then, I'd be complete.
