My favorite drummer is Jordan Mancino from As I Lay Dying. That guy is one crazy drummer.

i don't usually pay a whole lot of attention to drummers, but lately it has been Tomas Haake

oh actually i really like the lightning fast style of David Gray (from Akercocke and other lesser known bands)

Like melodic, black, death, symphonic, and/or avant-garde metal? Want to collaborate? Message me!
Mine definitely has to be Mario Duplantier from Gojira.

He isn't anywhere near being the best ever. But he has pocket and groove. So fuckin' much of it. He is what makes their music infectious for me
Sir Bollocksworth
Les Binks.

Played with Judas Priest 77' - 79' on the Stained Glass, Unleashed in the East and Killing Machine (Hellbent for Leather in the US) and did the tour for Sin After Sin. Honestly, it's a damned shame that he left the band when they started becoming more 'commercial' into the 80's. He was an absolutely fine drummer, prime example is the song "Exciter" from Stained Glass, as the intro especially wasn't done on a double-bass drum. (To my knowledge)
I can't believe I haven't seen Ginger Baker on the few pages of posts I scrolled through! Ginger Baker is definitely my favorite drummer, I think he just may be the most talented drummer I know of!

Do What Your Love Tells You
If there's one drummer I'd like to have play in a band with me it would be Roger Taylor from Queen. Very solid drummer.
Favorite living drummer?  Vinnie Colaiuta

He can play ANYTHING yet always tasteful, never overplays it, listens really well to the rest of the band and supports the other players.  All the while his hi hat is steady like an atomic clock.
"Your sound is in your hands as much as anything. It's the way you pick, and the way you hold the guitar, more than it is the amp or the guitar you use." -- Stevie Ray Vaughan

"Anybody can play. The note is only 20 percent. The attitude of the motherfucker who plays it is 80 percent." -- Miles Davis

Guthrie on tone:
I don't really have a list favorite drummers but if I were to pick one I enjoy listening to for no particular reason it would be Danny Carey of tool.  Don't know why, I just like they way he plays.
Not taking any online orders.

Playing starts 1 minute in.............then each takes a solo.........then the song again.

This is 5 years ago when one was 9 and the other one 14.
