I won't post anything here again, but it's weird. I started a thread of my own in the Gear forum with that video, and another moderator told me to post it in this thread.

OK,
i will not post here again.
Thank you.

I didn't say you couldn't post more demos in here, I just asked you to tone down the facebook and youtube advertising. This is not the place to get hits, it is for legitimate demos. Again, nice playing.

I was not talking to you Monkeyleg. You posted correctly in here. Sorry I have been out of pocket so long. Your video didn't come across as advertising for hits at all. I appreciate you creating as close to apples to apples comparison as possible.

Well, I think the blue is broken in at least...

Guitar: Fender '72 Reissue Telecaster, Fender WRH Humbuckers

Amp: AC30C2- Treble and Bass at noon, Tone Cut off, Volume 9+, Master 9. Tungsol 12AX7 V1/V2, Sovtek 12AX7LPS V3, JJ EL84 V4-V7.

Looper: Zoom G3

Mic: SM57, Off center, pointing towards cone

Capture: Mackie Onyx Blackjack, Audacity, Windows Movie Maker

Just another comparison vidya of these two speakers. I do notice a slight lack of lower frequencies and a bit more upper from the Blue, it is also a bit louder. Or it could be that the lack of low frequencies make the upper stick out a bit. Either way, I've noticed that I've been dialing in my amp with a bit more bass, but I still mic closer to the cone. The Green does sound a bit deeper to me. Edit: Sorry, had this posted in the wrong sub-forum.

Bias FX How do you guys think it stacks up!? I personally see it being useful because you don't need to haul around a bunch of gear, but it does lack some depth compared to the real thing. Here's a Review I did for Positive grid!

To try to move some equipment over the next few months at the music store, I've made some clips of each amp we have in stock. Dunno if this really a demo or more so just samples. Really I'm posting this because I thought they sound relatively okay, at least in the hands of someone who relatively knows what they are doing. But with a person like that they would have moved on to a better amp or would know that there are better options in the price range. Else how, here we go:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQRuU5gglvI

Also, why not sticky this thread? It would help a lot for people to easily access this, our dedicated "post sound from thing" thread. I had to search in my previous postings to find it again.

Tech 21 Sansamp Liverpool (VOX AC Simulation)

https://soundcloud.com/celestialcannons/sansamp-liverpool-direct

72 Reissue Thinline Tele - Liverpool - Mackie Onyx Blackjack - Audacity

As an actual one-trick-pony it better do a good trick. In the sound mediums I have heard (headphones, computer speakers, etc.) it sounds pretty good. I have not heard it in a full sound system, ~FRFR. I am curious how the line-out from VOX's own VT ranges sounds in comparison. For $169 new it is kind of steep for what it is. I would try to find used. But let the demo speak to you and see if new is worth it for you. It grows on me the more I listen to it, it seems.

Most of the recording uses the pedal settings that is suggested by Tech 21. The first bit is their "clean" setting. At about :40 is the "Singing AC30". At 1:52 is the "Tom Petty" crunch. At 2:30 is the "Brian May" crunch. At 3:30 I start setting it up to my tastes. I play with the speaker sim on the entire clip except for a bit around 3:38.

Edit: Here is another one. Signal chain is 72' Reissue Tele - Chellee Ponyboy - Liverpool - Zoom G3 - Mackie Onyx Blackjack. https://soundcloud.com/celestialcannons/liverpool-direct-2

The Octavix is an octave fuzz pedal. It does the octave fuzz thing nicely for my use and budget. I do muse that a VOX AC circuit is probably not the most ideal octave-fuzz platform. Marshall and Fender-voiced circuits (like in my Valveking) fit the sound a little better. But the Octavix still sounds great in either amp platform.

Thanks to the both of you! Yes that was recorded after the incident with the ANOS tube. She is still going strong.

And I have been on a bit of a playing/recording kick lately, here is another!

Oh man. I have some good demos up of pedals fellow UG members and other small builders worth talking about have created as well as one I'm really proud of of the OBNE Dark Star. All worth checking out. Hopefully I'm following the rules here? Let me know if I'm not.

In all of these few videos I'm running a 1985 Yamaha SBG1200 into an Orange Rockerverb 50 combo with a Sennheiser e609.

stradivari310 in the Gear for Post-Rock thread builds cool stuff under Electronic Audio Experiments, here is the Longsword V2. The RV50 has a greenback and a V30 in this video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9jpLJGRbIE

S&K Pedals is a good dude and his wife from New Jersey, he turned the Ampeg VH140C dirty channel into a distortion pedal. The RV50 is rocking a pair of WGS ET-90s in this video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3oez0Hcfufc

This is another pedal I really love, it's called the Sidereal Reverb from Robot Graves Industries. Another small builder from New Hamphire. Really cool boosty, dark reverb. RV50 has the greenback and V30 here as well.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NC_sNMQVhk8

Old Blood Noise Endeavors - Dark Star. Not a ton of demo material on this one. Super gnarly pedal, OBNE's best in my opinion. RV-50 has ET-90s in this one.

I don't think there are many decent wireless units in that price range if I'm honest but I'm not too familiar with wireless units anyway. I believe Line 6 does a few that might be decent but I have never used any myself to be able to verify.

Line 6 G30 has excellent sound quality but isn't really giggable due to being housed in a piece of shit casing.

G50 is a much more solid unit, but at nearly double the money it should be.

I would use a G30 for casual use but I wouldn't use it anywhere that it really mattered, and I've have a backup cable with me. (Which you should anyway...)

Sounds really good man.

I would've liked to hear the guitar parts isolated and not just in a mix and also probably a recording done with live amps as well. Maybe even a few thoughts/comparisons to similar pickups and why you like these particular ones.
