Cant cancel my account! its on auto charge. I have tried cancelling my account for at least a year! its on auto pay $10.99 every 3 months. there is no place to cancel on my account on their website and no way to contact them by email or by phone. Their are numerous complaints on their website forum. Plenty of people are very upset!
Report them!!!

I would like a full refund for the last year of payments $10.99 x 4

I am working to figure out a more streamlined set of instructions for you guys when you want to cancel.

Please keep in mind that most of the developers for the program and the site do not speak English as a primary language, so there may be a bit of a communication problem because of that.

In the meantime, it does not help anybody to get worked up and start cursing at people all over the place.
But we little know until tried how much of the uncontrollable there is in us, urging across glaciers and torrents, and up dangerous heights, let the judgment forbid as it may.

I see now.. you have to subscribe atleast a month before you can cancel the subcription. ZZZZzzzzzz

So if the user use the trial they have to pay 1 month to stop the subscription. Trials should be free. But this UG locks users for 1month payment for them to stop subscription or did they change the website after we figured out how to stop the subscription using paypal settings?

For users who uses the trial and cant cancel the subscription.

Guide removing subscription. (UG will fail to charge your paypal and automatically stop the subscription after trial period follow instructions below.)

1. Login your paypal go to My Account tab.
2. Click Profile
3. Click My Money tab.
4. Update your My preapproved payments
5. Click/Find Ultimate Guitar USA LLC
6. Cancel it.
7. Done.

I signed up for the 3-day free trial. I am wanting to cancel my subscription but cannot find out where to do that. How can I cancel?

Alright if you want to cancel subscription follow this link: http://plus.ultimate-guitar.com/account/subscription-info/
(if the link does not work click on the link under step 3)
step 1. click on the "to manage your subscription?" it's right under the "Update payment method"
step 2. click on the one saying "Your current subscription plan. " under that you will be able to see "Turn off auto-renewal"
step 3. click on whatever reason it is you're canceling (i think i know why) click continue and you will be asked to downgrade to a cheaper plan but fuck that just click continue and you will be able to see this option "Turn off automatic renewal"

This canceling thing has taken me hours... As I have seen above many customers have experienced the same frustration. If this online site was easier to use I would have stayed but they kept charging me in a round about way and tricked me into this 'contract.' I am following all of your instructions but their is still no way to cancel this subscription. I may cry.

Yes I have tried this website, but the link on the website takes me to a website called ... "My UG Plus" which says I have lifetime access which I do not. I am so confused.

Good afternoon! I decided to try a free trial access to your service.
For some reason my card was stolen $ 1.
After this I saw in the bottom of the page the inscription "buy unlimited version with 70% discount." I pressed the button to buy to find out the price. But my cards automatically been stolen $ 50. Without asking my permission !!! I do not need unlimited access. Return the money. You do not even have specified price. It is illegal !!!

UG Support Each time I try the link to cancel my account I get some Russian scam page and then nothing. I want to cancel my account. I feel I have been conned. I did not ask for renewing bills, I asked to try for one month and THAT IS ALL. I want to STOP NOW!!!!

On their support page, go to frequently asked questions and look for "I want to cancel my Tab Pro trial"... or just follow this, which I copied from their site:

If you started your Tab Pro trial on the website then you can cancel your Tab Pro trial by following these steps:
Log in with your UG username here: http://plus.ultimate-guitar.com/tab-pro/
Click on the expand button Image: https://ultimateguitar.uservoice.com/assets/87248361/expand_btn.png at the top left corner.
Click on your username.
Go to "manage your account" section.
Go to "Subscription" section and click on "Would you like to manage your subscription?"
Choose the option "Your current subscription plan. Premium local (full) subscription at $X.XX / X months"
Click on the appeared "Turn off auto-renewal" button.
Select "Other" reason and click on "Continue".
Skip the offer and enter your Ultimate Guitar account password.
Click on "Turn off auto-renewal" to complete the cancellation process.

Click on your username. You should see a message stating "You are not subscribed to any service yet..."

Worked for me. Hope it works for you all. I swear I'll never sign up for another auto-renew scam again. Any service worth subscribing to won't do crap like that to its customers.

Clearly this tab thing has a problem; thanks for the posts i managed to cancel it however i think the bbb complaint is valid since obviously they make it so hard to cancel your subscription!!!! Obviously you are trying to make it really hard for your users to leave you....companies who are confident do not resort to this type of tactic to generate income. Will also rate your app poorly on the store... resolve this problem, people lose faith real fast and i doubt you'll lose money...if anything you will get more referrals and more satisfied people...2016 cancelling can be done with a couple of clicks...1-2mins tops! Not the 30 minutes i just spent and succeeded only thanks to the users on this post.
