I searched and was stunned that there isn't a thread for this band. There are still so many questions about this band, why didn't he want to go to school? Did he end up going? Did they ever start that chillwave band? And what's most importantly, is Death Panels a real band? Discuss.

I don't know, I think they'll still stick to their roots despite their newfound fame. Does anyone have any insight as to when they might be releasing new material? Or perhaps, when they're DUE for a release?

As if you know him that well

I've totally talked to him on twitter once and had top comments on several of his videos.

On the topic of the Death Panels, the rendition of Zombie in the middle of Introducing... Count Swagula is the best thing ever.

I do not "know" him "well", but we are not "strangers". (the "<3" was for dp)

he is lecturing at Wesleyan next Thursday. I kinda wanna go, but that is like #3 on my activities list after going to a punk show & seeing a film on campus, so I will probably not. Also, I have a big time grudge against Wesleyan b/c first Wild Flag played there & I couldn't go (via "ONLY FOR STUDENTS") & now Laura Stevenson is playing there & I cannot go & also I worked at a Home Depot right down the street & fuck Middletown & plus MGMT are stupid. Fuck stupid liberal arts colleges full of rich white kids on drugs.

Lecturing on what? I'd totally go over those other two things, but whatever. I bet he's a great public speaker.

Count Swagula is one of the best songs I've ever heard.

And I'm being 100% serious when I say that.

Personally Gobbledygook is one of my favourites. I like the sound more, and it's got whoomit's songs that are also good.

White America Sux has the best Count Swagula track though, and you've got to love classics such as Is Death Panels a Real Band? and Saint of my <3.

St. of my <3 was obviously written about me.

On a serious note, that's easily one of my favorite songs ever.

That song is like one thing over and over. :lel:

Dunno if I've made this public info or not but if I haven't "St. of my <3" was actually written about SaintsofNowhere as somewhat of a debt payment.

Let's just pretend it was about me.

Yeah, but they had a good run. I think they picked a good time to disband to let the legend live on.
