i blew my sub. this thing is old, came with a computer system in '98 or something. Anyhow does anyone know how I'd find out what kind of sub speaker to replace it with and how much it would cost?

i'll try to upload pictures...

Thanks!

What you need is a new subwoofer.

If it's a powerd sub Get a new one if the amp is blown.
If it's a non powerd sub just replace the woofer.

And turn down your bass when you get a new one.

It's not a sub if it's a 4 inch, I can guarantee it. It's just a woofer. Replacing the speaker inside would be a hassle, matching ohm loads, fitting it in the case, all that. Just get new speakers

Just replace the woofer. Make sure the ohm's are right.

the number is 304-130003-00.. this is actually a really good speaker system in my opinion.. and new one would cost $100 or so.. i think it might be worth it to order a cheap speaker online and throw it in

a cheap speaker wouldn't give you your old system back

I remember this:
-(\_/)
(='.'=) This is Bunny. Put him in your signature and
(")_(") help him on his way to world domination.

from back in 06-07. He used to be ****ing everywhere.

Replaced mine with this and dramatically improved sound quality. But way far from an exact fit.

[forbidden link]

But an easier fit would be the Dayton from Parts express

[forbidden link]

Either way for a $5 sub with $2 creative speakers all from goodwill, the system sound amazing!!!!!
