Nope. I'd be up for playing some on the PC though, got a high level Siren (like mid-60's) and a mid-fifties Mechromancer.

Got all the DLC from the season pass, but not anything released after

then how did you pass 61?

Wasn't Digistruct Peak part of the season pass? If not I paid for that one

I must have paid! Ah well! The actual content is kind of shitty, but I figured the level increase would encourage me to play some more.

Didn't really work, it still takes for-****ing-ever to level up

Bought it with the intention of co-op with the girlfriend, she loves it, I think it's ok. I think I prefer shooting games on PC to PS3.

Tried giving a playthrough a shot without doing any of the side quests...

Level 24, and I can't beat Saturn without resetting him or getting wrecked before I kill him.

This looks like it's going to be pretty awesome, I loved The Walking Dead games so it will be interesting to see their take on the Borderlands story.

Can you pick up the Season Pass and get the DLC for it?

What for BL2? I don't know - if it's listed as available on Steam etc then I'd assume that buying the Season Pass now will grant you all the relevant DLC - bare in mind that not all of the DLC is covered by the Season Pass though.

For BL2; I play Xbox. And I'm aware of the DLC, but I'm curious to know because it's cheaper than buying the DLC separately.

Almost certainly - check the marketplace - I think the big DLC's were sort of £10 individually, so the season pass will probably save you around £20 or so on buying them seperately

@Metacarpi,

I was a little disappointed when I heard no one was on PSN, so didn't reply back.

On another note, since you have a Siren, the season pass and therefore the Tiny Tina DLC. I recently found a class mode in Tina DLC that you might want to go looking (found it in a treasure chest).

True Neutral Cleric class mod turns the Harmony tree into a close range fighter with 6 points to Life Tap and + 80% magazine. Some people say I cheat because I use the Sham, Norfleet and Logan gun for farming Loot Midgets but I'm no Pro and just want to have fun.

I've never understood why anyone thinks that using in game items is cheating. It's like all that uproar over The Bee.

Who gives a shit if it's OP? I enjoy using it, and my use of it has no impact on your game, since this isn't a competitive game, and I only play online with friends. Don't like it? Don't use it!

EDIT:

You could try asking in the Gaming Thread as well, I know of at least of couple of people there who had it on PS3 - although whether they still play it or not is another question!

Hey guys. I've been wanting to check out Borderlands 2 for some time because it seems to be pretty cool when played with others. I played Borderlands 1 alone and it was kind of boring and the whole game felt very desolate and quiet. I hate that feeling. Would that change if I played with other people?

The GOTY version is on sale on Steam for $29.99, and I'm kind of tempted, but I'm not sure if I should shell out that much money at the start without having even tried the game, so I thought about buying just the base game only for about $7. The Season Pass also doesn't include all the DLCs, so if I end up liking the game and want to get the DLCs I would be beating myself.

Any suggestions?

Edit: I'm pretty into FPS myself, having played Enemy Territory a lot for about 3 years, and on-and-off for 3-4 more years, so the genre's not the problem. I'm just unsure about the setting and the gameplay style of Borderlands. I don't know of anyone who still plays Borderlands 2, but seeing as there's this thread I'm hoping the playing with friends thing isn't a problem.

Borderlands 2 is a VAST improvement over the first one, I've played both games alone, and with others - Borderlands was kind of quiet solo, but Borderlands 2 is really good solo, and better if you can get a gang together. The community seems fairly reasonable too, based on the few times I've made my game open to the public, I've not really had any problems with Ninja-looting etc. Obviously your milage may vary with that though!

I'd say the Season Pass is definitely worth it - the Torgue Campaign and Tiny Tina DLC are the best two, and they'd run you the cost of the season pass alone buying them seperately, so consider the lesser Pirates Booty and Hammerlock Hunt freebies!

Would you recommend the GOTY edition for $30? A friend of mine I got to know playing ET said the gameplay's kind of repetitive, but I guess any FPS gets kind of repetitive after awhile. Hm.

I think it was on sale for $15, but the discount went from 75% to 50% a few hours ago while I was busy...
