I havent seen one of those for years. The old guitarist of Guttermouth used one back in the 90's when I saw them.

What model is that anyway?

Just making sure, you realize that play a br00tz guitar won't actually sound more br00tz than a normal guitar? In fact you can make your average LP sounds more br00tz than 90% of BC Rich guitars.

Whatever guitar I get I'm going to put rockfield fatass pickups on it so it sounds "br00tz".

Didn't read the other thread, but you don't need a "br00tz" guitar to be "br00tz", let your playing speak for itself.

This thread has nothing to do with playing guitar. Its all about the most brutal looking guitars.

I actually almost got one of these loaded with EMG's. But the guy traded it off moments before I could secure a deal with him.

I even picked my first song to play if I ever manage to get a mockingbird. If you want to know why this song "other than its just that awesome of a song" look in the back and see what jesus is playing.

If you want something really over the top... Then don't look any further then Moser Guitars. It's like BC Rich on LSD. And steroids.

If I had $2000 dispensable income I would get that.

People think my Ibanez RG-something is awesome, but I want to really blow their minds. Anyone know of a brutal-looking guitar?

I know that the design of the guitar has nothing to do with the sound, but I want to look flashy also.

The real challenge is I want to BUY the guitar. The price needs to be under $400, the cheaper the better.

Examples I found:

If anyone can find an awesomer guitar than those with a similar price tell me.

The Jackson Warrior seems to be the most brutal guitar for the lowest price. Should I wait until I get enough money for a really awesome guitar or is that good enough?

Man that is a pretty RG. I love the top. Beautiful, but not overdone and gaudy.

Needed to rephrase again.

Should I only have my RG421 for a while and save up money for a $2000 guitar or should I buy a Jackson Warrior then wait a lot longer for a custom guitar?

Should I keep my Ibanez RG421 and save up money for a $2000 guitar or should I buy a Jackson Warrior?

Yes.

Either option has its merits. You'd probably enjoy the Warrior quite a bit. Ditto other guitars in that price range that you've looked at.

OTOH, it is really cool owning & playing a high-end guitar...even if its on the lower side of high-end.

For $2K, you're starting to get into the range of luthiers who will do actual custom work, and a guitar that you helped design can feel...special.

Yes, they do.

That's what I did this year tracking down a Tacoma acoustic. Makes it easy to have delivered- someone WILL be there during business/delivery hours- and getting it checked out by a pro is as easy as walking across the store.

Go for the Jackson dude! Save to £500 ($810) or so and you can get the X series with EMG 81/85 and a TonePros bridge!
