Pedals will not sound good through that amp. Why do you want pedals so badly?

Your amp doesn't suck, it's a good practice amp if you're not into metal. But if you are into metal, you need a new amp.

Focus on getting a better amp.
Vox Valvetronix
Peavey Vypyr

30 Watts should be more than enough for you.
If you plan to gig with it, I would go for 50 Watts+ if you choose one of those amps.

Roland Cube is a nice little amp, but I personally have no experience with those.

Whenever you do get a good amp, Maiden uses Ibanez Tube screamers (Dave uses TS-808s; either the ts-9 or 808 for Adrian). Not sure quite how they use 'em though. They each use more than one, so they may have one on for general front end sound, than the other for a solo boost. Megadeth, as far as I know, aren't too big on pedals, since Mustaine only uses his multi fx. Maybe just a TS to dirty up the signal more. I've got no clue what Dream Theatre does, since Petrucci's rig is enormous nd changes a lot.

The TS, however, is good only if you have a decent budget. If not, the Digitech Bad Monkey isn't a bad alternative IMO.
Charvel So-Cal (SH6TB/N). Joyo pxl pro.
Loop1=Crybaby from hell, Seymour Duncan 805 or Green Rhino, EQD Hoof. Loop 1 into ISP decimator II.
Loop 2 (FX loop)-Line6 M9. Loop 2 into mxr 10band. All into a Peavey Triple XXX 212, Ibanez IL15.

What the hell is that going to do for his amp?

Maybe get a preamp pedal and run it in the fx return bypassing the preamp of the frontman. Id get a new amp if I were you but that might get you some usable tones.

Frontman might not be a bad amp but it's not a good amp either and if you feel that your tone isn't right, the thing you should first look at is your amp. There's no need to waste your money on five pedals when you can buy a better amp for the same money and you might notice that you don't need the pedals. First a better amp then pedals. Some of the pedals might become useless after you have a good amp.

frontman 25 has no effects loops. so that's not really an option.

When did he say which frontman he has

You don't need FX loop to use pedals. For example distortion pedals should be run in front of the amp, not in the loop. Delay, reverb and modulation work better in the loop but it's up to you and the sound you are after where you want to put them. If you for example want Van Halen sound, phaser in the loop isn't the best option, it might get too overwhelming. Van Halen run his phaser in front of the amp. And many people have all of their effects in front of the amp and only use the clean channel of their amp.
