Hi all

I've been playing guitar on and off for about 15 years. I know my basic chords, can throw together a song, and I can do chuggy riffs with the best of them!

In the last few years since getting married, having kids etc (growing up basically) I have found less and less time to play, and even sold my amp and pedals. I did however keep an acoustic and an electric.

So now after 15 years I've decided that I'm finally going to learn how to play properly! I've bought a little box that allows me to play my electric guitar through my phone which means I can practice when the kids are asleep!

The thing is though that I'm pretty lost as to where to start? Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks guys!

Start off by getting a metronome and a book on music theory then start with some scales ( major, minor, pentatonic) and some new chords
