Can't find a picture of it, but in LOTR, in the Woodland Realm.
When they show how all those lit up "stairways" go up the trees, just looks totally awesome to me.

That's one of them.
Thanks

Jeez, relax. It's an inside joke because Element and I are two of the only two people who like it in the film thread. Everybody else shits on it. Have you seen us talk about any other movie like this in the entire thread so far?

That's why I said the boner thing and also the caps lock rage one. It's an over exaggeration clearly.

Why wouldn't somebody get an erection from Hurt Locker? Didn't it meet critical acclaim?

You're crossing a very serious line here. Tread carefully.

lol, its somewhere between manslaughter and murder right?

It's a bit closer to murder, so it's more between angry murder and carefully planned murder. Although if you look carefully, you'll find that it's exactly between running someone over and running someone with their dog over, but if we're getting awfully specific, it's almost exactly like running someone with a parrot and a kitten over then stepping on a bug and throwing an uneaten donut away.

Tread carefully.

EDIT: That isn't to mention the placement of the kitten and parrot and what type of insect you'd step on, but I'm sure important moral details like that don't matter to you

First degree: Intent to kill and premeditation
Second degree: Intent to kill but no premeditation
Voluntary manslaughter: Accidental killing, but the result of something dangerous (like crashing into somebody while driving 100 mph)
Involuntary manslaughter: typically due to negligence.

So courts don't take throwing away uneaten donuts into account in murder trials?

Incorrect. I think it's great too. Maybe not quite as good as you think. That first bomb scene in particular really sticks in my mind as one of the greatest war scenes ever. Dat slow motion rumbling stones.

Truman show was full of these.

Also No Country for Old men had plenty.

True Grit: The scene at the end with Rooster coming back over the hill to meet Ned and his gang.

Also where they confront the indian and Rooster slides his coat away to reveal his gun.

28 Weeks Later: The country side filling with infected at the beginning when the guy is running. It was truly chilling.

I'm too lazy to post pictures.

Suspiria has some of the best use of color I've ever seen on film.

Pretty much everything Jeunet and Caro have done look like fairy tales come to life. City of Lost Children is the best looking movie I've ever seen.

Del Toro does the same... I have loads of fun looking at Hellboy and Pans Labyrinth.
