Thought it'd be a good idea to make a thread we can all post new music that you'd recommend to other people.

I'll start.

Just found a real good new blues musician called Gary Clark Jr. Just released his debut.

I found this yesterday, but it's the latest thing i found, it's Rabbit Rabbit Radio-

A project by Carla Kihldstedt and Matthias Bossi of Sleepytime Gorilla Museum. It may not be for everyone, but i find it exciting, and i have trouble coming to terms with the fact that the first video that i posted doesn't even have over 300 views.
WHOMP

Think of that next time you are not allowed to laugh.

Yeah I was listening to them, wasn't a fan. All their songs sound exactly the same to me. I hope that drummer of theirs forms his own band though.

On topic:

I realize neither one is a "new" band but they're new to me

But Gary Clark Jr has albums dating back from 2004?

So he does. Shows how recently I found out about him, I was under the impression that his latest release was his debut, but it's actually just the first one on a big name label.

Please put your youtube links in spoilers everyone.

Yeah, good idea; this is lagging like hell.

Dumb question but how do I not embed it? It's probably something really simple I should be figure out on my own.

My negro.

@ OP: Gary Clarke Jr. is nothing special, I don't understand why he is getting as much critical acclaim as he is.

OT: I heard this on the radio yesterday and it caught my attention as my college's alma mater is a direct note for note ripoff of it.

Holy turds. I haven't listened to that since I was eighteen years old! I had no idea that they had a video.

I think that this is cool, although I've liked Pelican and their song Mammoth, I think that it's interesting that they remade one of their own songs with just major intervals. It still manages to be really heavy.
I've decided that my signature is terrible. I'm open to suggestions.

It's not them, just a video someone made with pictures of them. I haven't seen any music videos from them just some raw live clips. :/
They're really awesome, and luckily (though also very sadly) they only have one album and a few EPs so I can acquire their whole discography easy!
