Hi guys, i'm in a search for a maple fretboard guitar with a floyd rose.

MUSIC

I like to play like every genre of music like blus, funk till Death metal and trash metal So the guitar needs to be versatile.

Pickups

I don't want some crappy pickups. I don't want EMG because i already have one equipped with it.
The pickups can be: SSS (Like a strat) HSS, HH or HSH. I dont want a single humbucker guitar.

Shape of the guitar

I don't want things very abstract. I don't like V shaped guitars so the shapes that i would prefer would be a Les paul type or a strat or a super strat.

Bridge

Floyd as mentioned in the Title.

Fretboard

Maple or Ebony. I want inlays. I can't play without inlays in the guitar

Construction

Bolt on, Set Neck or Neck thru. I dont want my neck GLUED to the guitar.

Nº of Strings

Six. It can be seven but i would prefer SIX.

Price

Max: 750$. MAX OF MAX: 800$

Suggestions?

Er... yeah: have another think about what you actually want in a guitar, you sound like you haven't a clue.

Based on what you've said, we could recommend you about six thousand guitars.

Then you don't want a set neck....
Maybe take a look at the new Jackson Pro Series- i think there was either a dinky or soloist with a maple neck.
Also look at some ibanezes.

Tone is in the fingers.

What you really need is a new amp.

I have been hearing about MG amps lately. I have heard good about them, but only a few times have they been talked about here.

Set neck and neck-through are glued.

He wasn't exaggerating when he said we could start naming six thousand guitars. Maple is the most common fretboard on guitars with Floyd Rose bridges and nothing else you mentioned is even remotely specific. Do you have any idea how many thousands upon thousands of super-Strats there are that fit your incredibly loose criteria? Too many to possibly count, let alone list here. That's just one body type.

There are so many far, far more important things you need to think about when getting a guitar - neck contour, scale length, woods, to name just three basic ones - and if you don't take these things into account then you might as well just be rolling dice to decide your next purchase.

Do some research. Have a proper think about what it is you want from this guitar. Don't go throwing away hundreds on something you've put no thought into.
Yes, I know everything. No, I can't play worth a damn.

I agree to some extent. However, if one would be a person with quite a few guitars already, who is accustomed to different scales, contours, radii etc. and is GASing for a guitar with a certain look, or certain specific attributes, then those might actually get priority. Then when you've got a few options, you can think about what tonewoods you'd like, what neck you'd like and so on. If you've already got (more than) a few guitars that you like and you are a diverse player, maybe it won't matter too much.

That said, his specs are pretty vague, considering how ridiculously many superstrats there are out there. I must say, though, that I find rosewood and ebony fretboards to be just as common, if not more common (rosewood on budget models especially) than maple.

First, it's not trash metal its thrash metal. Now, you could get a Jackson DK2M second hand somewhere or they have a new pro series out I believe which is very similar to the older ones, but alot more expensive I imagine. I have a 2007 that I got for I think $400, It has all the specs you want at an affordable price. Tremolo is a JT-580LP which can be swapped out directly for an OFR or Schaller without needing to re-drill the stud spacing IIRC. It has Maple neck/fretboard, 24 frets, black sharkfin inlays, black binding, bolt on neck, comes factory with SD pickups, etc. Seems like everything you want.

Good luck. Is there any reason you want a maple fretboard other than the look? There's a good number of 7 strings that can be had for under $800, but you're going to be hard pressed to find one with a maple neck.
