However it sounds best to you really.

Although don't forget that if you put a delay after the reverb that it will repeat the verb on top of the note

You could always move 1 of the delays and reverbs forward in your chain, so a delay feeds into a modulation effect or something? I have about 4 or 5 delays on my board in different positions in the chain, just for funsies.

If you wanted them all at the end though, I would say delay reverb delay reverb. That way you can have a delay, a delay with reverb, then add the last 2 in when you want some really crazy ambient, atmospheric stuff

It all depends on desired effect. Draw yourself a diagram and think through what will be doing what. There is no right answer, but the possibilities create some very different effects.

I would put the delays in front of the reverbs. Experiment putting the long before the short and vice versa.

that's how i do it. I get more haunting mids and swirl and chirp that way. It also preserves the fragile harmonics.


Seriously, though. I think normally you put reverb after delay. Whether that still holds with multiple ones, I dunno. You might be in "trial and error" territory... if it sounds right it is right, kind of thing. And you might stumble across something that sounds cool which you hadn't thought of.
