You can tell a lot about a band by how they present themselves, so I'm going to say a decent amount.

When certain bands show up at the Gasworks, you can spot the terribad ones pretty easily by the way they dress.

Some of my favourite musicians look like this

So I'd say no, not really
TO ALL MY KILLERS AND MY HUNDRED DOLLAR BILLERS...
...TO EMO KIDS THAT GOT TOO MANY FEELINGS

^those guys arent ugly
a bit bulky, and not pretty boys, but they give an impression of being serious musicians and don't have distracting looks.
But boys will be boys and girls have those eyes
that'll cut you to ribbons, sometimes
and all you can do is just wait by the moon
and bleed if it's what she says you ought to do

The latter one looks like a fat modern Jim Morrison
sometimes I see us in a cymbal splash or in the sound of a car crash

The Afros were 90 percent of the reason I fell for TMV. Same thing happened with Jackson 5, MC5 an Flower Travellin Band.

I love you =] I can't say I was very fond of you when we first started talking because you trolled the hell out of my threads, but after talking to you here I've grown very attached to you.

Yeah, write to my fanclub about it, honey.

Lemmy isn't attractive, but he is cool looking.

I agree with you, no-one wants some ugly-ass dude/girl up there on stage.

I was very disappointed the first time I saw a picture of Joe Bonamassa. He's an amazing guitarist but god, he looks like such a loser...

He's lost a lot of weight over the past few years. I'd say he looks much better now. No homo.
I don't know what makes a man handsome, but I think now he looks like the awesome blues player that he is, rather than like a loser.

I haven't seen any pics of him in the last few years looking like this, I guess he's grown into the 'cool middle-aged blues-guy' quite well. But I stand by what I said about him in his younger days.
