Hi! So a year or so ago I decided I'd had enough of the limited specs among production 7's so I decided to take matters into my own hands and mod the living crap out of this poor Schecter. The results are as follows:

Original:

And finished by a good friend of mine, Jörgen at Nazenius Airbrush Art:

Note the mirror-polished finish and the fantastic faux-binding, as contrasted by the snow here:

Closeup of the binding:

Closeup of the silver metallic/pearl dragon. Looks sexy under stage lights!

The headstock, with a new, sprayed on logo that he cut himself. Clean! Alos note the binding again:

Satin neck finish:

I shaved off a good chunk of the original neck, it's similar to a UV neck now but perhaps a little more C-shaped.

Finally, here's a video with it in action:

Hot damn, that looks amazing.

Also, I love the idea of putting single coils on a 7, don't see many around.

Not sure if I get what you're trying to say... that's a different guitar I built before this one, that guitar turned out good but it had problems with string action and tuning, as well as having only a 25" scale length. So I put this Schecter together instead.

DiMarzio Paf7 in the bridge (might change it for a hotter pickup) and 2 Lollar Blondes.
