White (now aged a bit) 2009 American Standard Strat. I love this like a child. But children suck. And this guitar doesn't.

Also got around 50 picks, a pick punch, some guitar wall hangers, a very nice hard case for the strat, a nice strap, and some cash to save toward buying a decent cab.

Incoming pics.

StudioLive, huh? How do you like your other? Been trying to convince my friend's band to get one, cause it'd allow me to mix them live extremely easily, plus I can send it out to a laptop to record, and everyone has an iPhone in the band, so they can setup their own in ear mix.

I like it a lot. Just the fat channel pays for itself. It's a very logical setup, and you can get very clean/clear sounds because of the parametric and the adjustable high pass filter.

Here's a tip, you can connect 2 24.4.2's together, but you can't record 48 channels, or use the ipad app. You can connect two 16.4.2's together to get the maximum 32 channels available on firewire, so that was why I bought two 16.4.2's.

Also, The new update adds SMAART Real time analysis software to help adjust for the room.

Gator has a kickass case with a doghouse and adjustable arm for laptops or tablets.

I use Waves Multirack plugins with my studiolive, great effects and verbs!

No floyd, graphite nut, auto trim tuners(they're planet waves, but they are ibanez branded), spanky single coil sounds, and it has an adjustable stop so string breaks are no problem. Awesome guitar!

It's a Reverberocket r50h I believe. Sexy amp.

Yep, that.

2 x EL34, 3 x 12ax7. 2 channels, spring reverb, both foot switchable.

Crazy nice amp for the $400 they go for.

Not kidding when I say it has a great clean and very 80s hair metal gain channels.

And its very manageable at any volume level.

I know i'm late to the party (pun intended), but i've been away from the internet for a while for anything not-work-related, and i too want to show off my Christmas loot.

Besides, los españoles only get their presents on the 6th of January (today), and Spain is right next to Portugal, so...

Here's what i got:

From my parents,
  • a T-Rex Fuel Tank Chameleon;
  • a Thomann gig bag for the handmade pedalboard that i've built with the help from my father and a friend;
  • a 12 pack of Jim Dunlop .73 MM Tortex picks;
  • new patch cables for my pedalboard;
  • a pick holder with a fluorescent slide holder to mount on my mic stand;
  • a Planet Waves string winder;
  • a Planet Waves neck cradle/support for guitar maintenance.

My brother gave me the Pearl Jam 1993-1995 box, that includes the albums "Vs.", "Vitalogy", and the "Live at the Orpheum Theatre" bootleg, from the 12th April 1994 Boston gig.

And an aunt gave me that "faux book", made of leather, that opens to reveal two card decks, a dominoes set and dice inside.

It was a great Christmas, i had lots of fun with my friends and family, ate excellent food and deserts (and gained a bit of weight in the process... ), and loved all my presents.

Happy New Year to all UGers!
