Has anyone here read "The Music Lesson" by Victor Wooten or "Effortless Master" by Kenny Werner? They are two of my favorite books about music. Does anyone know any other books that are similar to these? If you haven't heard of them or read them, I highly recommend checking them out. They are interesting if nothing else, but also contain some great ideas and techniques for learning, practicing, and performing music.

the only music book i have that isn't a tab book is "The Everything Guitar Scales Book" by Marc Schonbrun. I pretty much use it as a dictionary for scales and has helped me since i started guitar. it even has a cd that has lessons on it for further help.

of course, it isn't very sentimental or anything, but it did help expand my knowledge of music theory and is a book about music, hence it falls into this category.
